I called Handel at 4:50 pm while my son was in the way to their shop with my car. He had been attempting to fill up the tires (cold weather) and the valve/sensor on one of the tires broke. Darryl took the needed information and my son got there with a few minutes to spare. I left the car overnight and Darryl called me first thing in the morning to tell me what the repairs were going to be and cost, and then they had the job done two hours later. I really appreciated Handel fixing the tire quickly and thoroughly. I always have good experiences at Handel and appreciate the straightforward manner with which they run their shop.

I had an unexpected issue with my car, and Laurie fit me into the schedule right away. They diagnosed and fixed the issue all in the same day. They even vacuumed the dog hair from our back seat.

The folks at Handel Automotive are not only friendly but helpful and knowledgeable. I went in for an oil change and they took care of that and then checked the car out. They found that my right front tire has a bulge in the sidewall so they recommended that I replace the tires before winter because it’s likely to cause major problems - like a blowout. They told me the amount of wear on the front and rear tires to help me in making my decision whether to replace two or four tires which I very much appreciated. It’s things like that which keep me coming back to Handel’s.

So happy I found a great auto repair shop. A few weeks ago my car fan wouldn’t shut off after turning my car if and even though it was almost closing time, this lovely gentleman took care of it and didn’t charge me for his time and expertise. Today they put new wiper blades on without an appointment and very quick & pleasant service. They have reinforced my belief that Monona is a great place to live. Moved here in May and am so happy I made the move. Good mechanics are a rare find and I hit the jack pot.

I was told I had a wiring issue from another shop…it was just dead bulbs. They were totally fair and didn’t take advantage of the situation and had my car done in a couple hours. I will definitely be returning for all my auto care needs.
