Samuel said his overall experience was horrible. The person that assisted him lied. He told him he would get the service work finance, and if he would not, he would finance it himself. They communicated the issue was with the hydraulics and would cost $500 to fix. They later stated the transmission was the issue and the vehicle was fixed, and the cost is $4,300. He never agreed to the transmission work. They put a lean against his vehicle and took it. The vehicle would not start, so it was not really fixed. He is going to make it a crusade to tell everyone about his experience, and will file a lawsuit.

Brian said the work at the business was really good. However they wanted him to put a $400 deposit down on a prepaid visa card or with western union before repairing his transmission. He refused and they repaired it anyway, although it took 3 days to get the transmission.

Travis said they worked on his transmission. He had to return because there were issues with it. While the vehicle was there, they broke something and he had to pay for it. They told him the vehicle would not start so they wanted to charge him $800 to fix the ignition. He call the parent business, and got a quote for $500. After, he negotiated with the business and they were willing to charge $500. The windows were not working when he picked up the vehicle but they fixed it. The light is still on. His vehicle was delayed for a week and a half due to parts. They kept his vehicle for 3 weeks.

"Ild give a zero if i could"
Spoke to the keller rep, after being told we needed a brand new transmission and telling him we couldnt afford ANY cost up front (initially denied for the full amount) as Im a new graduate and have yet to find a job. We asked that they just put the tranny in the bed of the truck and we would just tow it home for now since we didnt have $6,300 up front. He said he got a credit increase for us to cover the amount and it was all ready for us, 9% interest rate, if we paid it off in 12 month it be no interest. WELL, I received a bill for the transmission with a 30% interest rate right off the bat, but we still dont have a truck. Excuses keep popping up as to why the truck wasnt ready yet. Now that it has been almost a month. Im telling them Im done and need my truck and they can keep the tranny, they have relocated our entire $30,000 truck from the original shop and the keller rep is hanging up on my phone calls after denying ever giving me any of that information, yet all calls are recorded? Interesting how American Transmission works especially to an active duty serviceman out of town with a vehicleless wife with 3 kids at home. How can people be so low?

Alan said the employee he dealt with at the business, was not honest. The employee told him they would tow his vehicle to the business and if he decided to go with them, they would tow it back. He never mentioned anything about being charged, and he had to pay over one hundred dollars just to have it towed there. He stated he pays for road side assistance and if he knew he was going to be charged, he would have used his road side assistance. He had asked the employee to give him an estimate written on paper. The employee said he could not do that, and to just take his word for it.

Al said this business was nice and great. He did not get a paper specifying what was done but they cleared all of the codes and he did not know which ones. That may be problematic in the future if he ever has to go to somewhere else because he does not have the sheet of the breakdown. He does not want to pay somebody else to check the same codes.
