Hello Harry. As always with a situation like this one, no one is happy... Lets get the facts together please. This 2007 Kia Rio was towed in late Friday 3/11, no appointment, for rear brakes locked up per Andy. AVC Auto Inc. inspected brakes on Monday 3/14 front brake calipers failed. "Parts Unavailable State Wide" We ordered parts 3/14, 3/17 parts came in, vehicle repaired. Andy called back in & stated brakes were sticking. When vehicle returned, after closing hours, Andy stated not doing now. We test drove several times & was able to verify r/front brake heating up. Determined new hose failing, orderd new hose 3/18 hose came in 3/22 repair was confirmed & ready. Vehicle picked up after hours. "Lets Sum This Up" Estimation of cost & parts availability were explained in detail. Towed in 3/11 second hose repair 3/22. One day less than you stated, do the math, idle time for weekends, inspection & parts in hand. Kia parts had to be oredered thru Kia & Auto Plus. We go out of our way for our customers. We did our best, circumstances were against both parties. Kia vehicles are getting better with quality, older vehicles, did have issues. Check out reviews.
