We replaced a broken exhaust pipe for the EGR that Mr Clark had already tried to replace himself. We did clear the codes and Mr Clark was told it may or may not fix his problem. We never were asked to and Mr Clark never paid for us to diagnose the problem. It was running when it left and Mr Clark drove it home. There is no where on the invoice that shows a charge for checking his transmission fluid because we have never charged to check fluid levels as this is a courtesy for our customers. We have not heard from Mr Clark in the 30 days since we worked on his car and had no idea he was having trouble. We understand the frustration of having a car not working properly.
