Quality repairs/excellent customer services
I have been a customer at GCR for approx 10 years servicing my 1997 Porsche 911 Carerra. There are 3 main parts of my review that I would like to comment on - 1 - facility, 2 - quality of work and 3 - customer service. GCR recently moved from Roswell to Alpharetta to a brand new facility - Alan Kidson showed me around including the shop and it is first class. In my opinion this was a brilliant strategic move for GCR. Secondly, the quality of work on my 911 was incredible. Jerry Weiden was the technician that did my repairs which included valve and timing cover, distributor, spark plug wiring replacement as well as brake and 60mi service. They sent me pictures during the process of dropping my engine (before and after). After picking up my car which I have owned over 10 years, it literally sounded and drove like a new car. Kudos to Jerry for his workmanship. I would highly recommend his services. Finally, regarding customer service. For me, customer services is almost as important as the quality of facility and technicians. I will say that Alan made some good moves in this area as well as their customer service at the prior location front desk was less than superb in my opinion (to the point where I was considering a change in repair facility). Alan made some changes adding Yohannes Gebrekidan in the front office replacing his former lead person at prior location. This was a great move as Yohannes has great customer service capabilities and was always pleasant and providing good communication of status etc. A couple of final remarks. Alan Kidson is the best you will find in area - very knowledgeable, understands the value of his customers and will make the right moves in the best interest of them. Overall, GCR is a great place to have your vehicle services at a reasonable price. I am happy to recommend them to service your vehicle - you wont be disappointed. Kurt Schneider
