Joseph, thank you for your feedback. We do not use oil change reminder stickers on Porsches, as Porsche owners are typically well aware of the service requirements of their vehicles, and we use an email reminder system for upcoming services. Our oil change cost is actually less expensive than the local dealer (I checked). Perhaps you forgot about the oil pressure switch replacement in addition to the oil change?
Regarding our Porsche knowledge and experience, my Porsche Tech, Jerry Weiden, is a Porsche Master Technician with 40 years of experience. I doubt you will find anyone to match his experience and his impeccable work ethic anywhere,
Your Boxster had been overheated severely and had sustained engine damage as a result of the overheat. This was evident when you brought the car to us and we inspected it. It had also had a new waterpump iinstalled prior to us seeing the car. As good as we are, we cannot turn the clock back and cure a damaged engine just by doing an oil change, and you were informed of our findings during the course of our inspection of your car. The communication breakdown was not on our end.
