Jonathan said he went to this business thinking he knew what the problem with his vehicle was, but after they performed a diagnostic, this business found additional repairs that he was not expecting and he did not have the $600 for those repairs so he decided not to get any work done. They told him he owed $60 for the diagnostic and he was not happy with that because he could have gone to another business and get a free inspection. He added that his service advisor seemed uncaring and in a hurry to move along to the next customer. He would not recommend this business to others for the reasons mentioned. He suggested that this business could serve him better by offering free inspections like many other businesses are doing.

Jonathan, Sorry you had a bad experience. We still need to confirm problems with vehicles even if you have an idea what it would be. Similar to a doctor has to perform tests, based on a patients symptoms. We are responsible for the repairs and we need to verify a problem before we can correctly fix it. Especially with something as critical as your braking system. Depending on the time spent, the type of tools needed, and the labor involved to properly diagnose the vehicle there may be a charge.
