James said within 10 miles of the business after he left the water pump leaked and the vehicle overheated. He said the repair cost $5,000 and this business isn't going to cover it. They did not tell him the vehicle was not in a safe condition to drive, even though they had told the insurance company that they wouldn't drive it. They made it sound like it was a drip and not a full on leak. They told him the water pump was leaking and they could fix it, but they would have to charge for it. He told them it was under warranty, so he would take it to another business. He was on his way to the Mini facility when it happened. The head gasket needs to be replaced. He said this business put Stop Leak in the cooling system, which caused more damage, but he couldn't prove it was them even though nobody else had the vehicle before he found it. The water pump, the thermostat, and possibly the cylinder head need to be replaced now. He said he only had the vehicle for 20 minutes when it broke down. They pushed the due date back from the 15th to the 18th because the CV boot had torn, and then the vehicle wasn't even ready until the 20th. When he arrived to pick the vehicle up he still had to wait an hour because they were topping off fluids. They didn't remove the protective mat on the driver's side. Because they told him they're also not going to cover the work, he is going to sue them. He said the paperwork has not been filed yet, but his lawyer is meeting with them today. He said he had never heard of this business until the day the insurance company called and told him he could either pick up his vehicle at the claim center or at this repair facility.
