Botched oil change
Mixed reviews on this visit. Brought it in for an oil change, which I've done before, as well as diagnosis on a grinding sound. Jared figured out that I had major issues with the main accessory belt but recommended that I take the car to someone experienced with this type of Volvo repair, as he'd never done it before. He recommended another local mechanic, who he'd already spoken to about the issue. I appreciated his honesty. When I was driving home that night, the low oil light came on. Took it to another mechanic the next day for the belt issue and found that the car needed an entire quart of oil added to it. So disappointing since an oil change is basic and they should be able to put in the right quantity of oil, especially checking the level before sending it out! I am not sure yet if I'll go back. Very disappointed.
