Unfortunately with some older vehicles (2004 Mitsubishi), parts are not always readily available. The car was originally scheduled for repair on 2/23/2015. We were informed by the dealer the part required (Quarter panel) was backordered from Mitsubishi and was being shipped from Japan. A 90 day window was given to us. We called Susan to advise her of the delay and we would call her again when all the parts were available to reschedule the repair.
Part arrived on 4/16/2015. Called Susan and scheduled repair for 4/22/215. Vehicle was completed and ready on 5/1/2015 and picked up on 5/4/2015.
We did apologize for the part delay but completed the repair in a timely manner (8 days) once parts were recieved.
All information was communicated to the customer as it was recieved regarding the part backorder.
