Review for Lone Star Chevrolet Body Shop
Marilyn H. on 06/21/2013
Spoke with Marilyn's husband. He said he made an appointment with this business 2 weeks in advance. He was supposed to get his vehicle back in 4 days, but got it back in a week and a half because his vehicle sat without being touched for 4 days. This business lied and told him the they didn't do anything on his vehicle because of Geico delays. He found out this wasn't true because they were supposed to have parts removed to look for additional damage prior to Geico examining the vehicle, but parts had not been removed the first time a Geico representative went to them, 4 days after he dropped off his vehicle. The Geico representative had to return to this business after they removed parts, and found additional damage, which had to be approved. Later, during the repair process, there was a delay because of a holiday weekend. No one from this business ever communicated with him, or called him during the repair process. He had to call them for updates, and even found out his vehicle was ready on one of his calls to them. The only satisfaction he had with the personnel, and this business, was with Steve, the General Manager, and the person who is the director of their vehicles extended himself to him. He chose not to elaborate. He was not satisfied with this business's communication because they didn't communicate with him. He will recommend this business because of their quality of work, which is ultimately what he wants with repair work, but he will tell people he recommends to them that they don't communicate and are lacking in customer service. He said he thought he would receive great customer service because he purchased this vehicle from this business's affiliated sales department.
