Miguel said he wasn’t satisfied with the repair because they spilled spot cleaner on the hood and the fog light wasn’t repaired. The vehicle was 3 days late because of parts delays. He wasn’t satisfied with the person who prepared his estimate because they didn’t know the code for the fog light and they didn’t try to find it. The person who prepared the estimate referred him to a business that sells similar vehicles so he could get the code for the fog light. He wasn’t satisfied with this business’ communication because of their failure to research the code for the fog light. He would not recommend this business to others because of their lack of professionalism. He found this business on the internet.

When a car is picked up after repairs are complete we walk the car with the owner, no issues with the hood were ever discussed. We have absolutely no idea what he is referring to on "the spot cleaner" on the hood. He called in after he took his car home and "told us" that we spilled spot cleaner on his hood. We asked him to bring it in and show us BUT he never came back, he never showed us the hood problem. The fog light was not on the insurance prepared estimate, owner made no mention of the fog light issue until he picked it up. The fog light dash warning light has to be reset by the dealership using their specialized scanner. It was unfortunate BUT we are a GM dealer and he drives a MINI COOPER. Even if we could have found a BMW/Mini Cooper fog light code the car still had to go to the mini dealership. On the other hand, we were able to get his car back to him 5 days ahead of schedule set by his insurance company!
