Christopher said this business did a good job. They were very responsive but very pricey. They need to sell vehicles that are inspected better. Right after he bought one from them it needed maintenance.

"They always tell the truth but repair prices are usually more than going to a dealer. "
I was quoted over 600 to replace a simple alternator. I know there is labor involved but the Ford dealer wanted 150.00 less for same job.

Thomas,  I am sorry you were not happy with your estimate.  However in certain situations we perfer to use higher quality parts.  In this case a motorcraft (ford) alternator was not the perferred choice given it's failure before 60k miles even though this is what the dealer would choose, instead we quoted a premium brand with a lifetime warranty.  And yes, it is a higher priced part.  When we find the original part has failed prematurely we opt to use a higher quality part in order to give your vehicle a longer life.  But the option is always yours.  If you ever want it done cheaper please just ask.  We have options.

I can assure you we never recommend anything that is not needed.  We have the moto " If it was your mothers vehicle would you tell her?"  Our technicians are not paid on commision. We pride ourself on our honesty and integrity.  We simply want you to be aware of the condition of your vehicle.  We see it too often where a ball joint comes out of socket causing massive damage from a neglected repair.  It is our responsibility to notify you if we notice something that can potentially cause harm to your vehicle or person.
