With the intitial indications it appeared you may have had a failed alternator and the shop first wanted to isolate that. When the alternator tested positive and the prior battery had been charged enough to load test it was determined the battery had a failed cell, and we replaced the battery upon your authorization. the BMW battery is in a bit of an akward place to change in the boot, and is also an expensive battery. We sell exclusively Interstate Batterys which have one of the best warranties that can be honored nationwide. While they are a little more expensive the batteries are amongst the best made and with the top end import cars we normally service we have found that our Customers feel that Quality is always remembered when price is long forgotten. So we try to provide good value with high quality parts. As we may not have portrayed that to you we have noted your file with us that you get a 25% discount on your next oil service.

replace a battery is to high comparative to Sears, Costco, and many many other competitors. Am willing to forgo convenience for significantly better names r elsewhere
