Steve
While your truck was in the shop all indications were that you had a very small leak, possibly through old permeable hoses. The system held a vacuum for over 20 minutes which normally indicates a very slow and small leak that can be treated as we did. It is unfortunate that there was not more time before your departure to Florida after we serviced the car, as we could have explored for leaks via dye. We had no history your A/C since you purchased the car not knowing if the A/C worked in the winter. After charging your system there was a 25 degree drop from ambient temperature indicating your compressor was working, and we did not detect with our electronic "sniffer" any leaks. With the short time between the service and your departure there was no time to detect such a small leak with dye.
While it is not of much help to you while you are down south, we certainly will credit prior time spent towards further tracing this leak down upon your return to try and make this right of you.
Thank you for taking the time to repsond to our satisfaction survey and for being our Customer, we look forward to working with you to try and make this right
