We are confused with your misunderstanding. When you brought the car in you were quoted our standard diagnosis fee of 1 hour, and you were told that would be adjusted based on actual work. To assure our Customers of honest straight forward pricing we use a flat rate schedule published by Mitchell1, the premiere data source in our industry. After testing your alternator, battery, and system for parasitic draw we condemned the battery. So your final bill not only included the remove and replace fee, with testing but also included 6 year warranted nationwide battery for a BMW SUV that was ~ $188. Driving a BMW we are not sure how you expected to find a battery for less than $100, and with the mounting of the battery where it was how you expected less in labor. If you can find a better price on a battery of the same quality with as strong a warranty we would be happy to remove the one we installed and refund you for the battery as long as it is returned in good condition by 8/29, a week from today and almost two weeks from when it was installed.
