Spoke with Joan. She said there is still a scratch on one of the back panels and the front fender. She said she was satisfied with the way she was treated by the personnel, but not for the service that was provided. She asked the business to do her front brakes and she wanted the ashtray fixed because there was a piece of paper stuck so it would not close. She was not satisfied with the communication because they charged her $50 for a diagnostic check for the ashtray but she did not want it diagnosed because she had already known what was wrong. The business also gave her a list of other things that were wrong on her vehicle that needed to be fixed. She then had a miscellaneous $20 charge on her bill and the ashtray was $26, which did not make her happy. She would recommend the business for service because she was overall pleased with that but she would not recommend the affiliated service department. The business also tried to tell her she needed an oil change when she just got one in December. She had a sticker on her vehicle from the last time she got her oil changed and it was at 92,000 miles. When she got her vehicle back she looked and she was only at 94,000 miles and she knows she does not need an oil change every 2,000 miles. She has been coming to this business for 4 years but this visit was not good. If she would have known the business was going to charge her $50 to fix the ash tray she would have had her husband take the paper out.
