I personally have never used this shop. My parents have for years and years. My dad passed away in Oc
tober 2022. When my mother needed either a new transmission($5000+, or a new vehicle), in December 2022, their mechanic offered to take my mom car shopping. He could’ve said to put a new tranny in, but in his honesty, he offered to help her find a new vehicle instead. Talk about trust. I will forever be grateful to this shop and the character they provide to humans. If you’re wanting a genuine relationship with the people who you trust your vehicle and life to, these are the folks. Thank you for the support you provide to your community.

These guys are within walking distance of my house. That’s a huge plus. I can drop off the car and wa
lk home. Or better yet, for something simple like an oil change, they get it done in around half an hour—easy to wait.

I can always trust the information, regarding my car, from Scott. He's the best, and probably deserv
es a raise. The front-in guys, Dave and Rob, are also very knowledgeable, and customer-focused. The nice surprise is there are never any surprises.

I took my sons 2014 charger in for some front end work and some fluids changed. My son is working out
of town and asked if I could drop it off. Dave the shop manager got us in and out in 2 days. Some front end work was misdiagnosed so Dave had his mechanic install extra parts and labor at no cost to me. That is why I bring all my cars and trucks to Auto Star and so do my family and friends.

The service is good, and people are friendly. I went on a snowy day. Limited parking. I went to park
in the last space and as I got out of the car was told to move it as "I need to out the snow there'. Could have been more polite, or indicated me not to park there. Annoying. The oil change was fine though and I will go back again.

Lady with no oil in engine 's review - a clip from below
The lady who reviewed about having no oil in the engine?? Why is it the dealerships fault there was n
o oil. ? Its your job to check the oil each day before you use your vehicle. Period. My neighbor got a free engine after 100k had passed due to the lower bearing issue. About a year later my daughters engine failed again just past warranty. They covered it 100 % . I would like to see Ford GMC or Chrysler do the same. You say they treated you like you were stupid?? Well sorry to say this but by reading your message I will think the same. I have purchased 4 vehicles there in the last 10 years. I have never had an issue . Mind you I do lift the hood and look around including checking the oil.
