SO FAR SO GOOD - PUT IN A REBUILT ALTERNATOR - SAME DAY SERVICE! - communication was somewhat confusing
I went here because my alternator was no longer recharging and I needed a place I could get to that w
as near my home. The manager was very professional... he gave me a low-end price, but for a "rebuilt" alternator. He told me if he could get the part that day, the work would be completed same day. I went home and waited - He called after a few hours and said car would be ready in 20 minutes. I returned shortly afterwards and from here service became a bit disorganized:
1- The 20 minutes turned into 2 hours waiting around (not horrible, but would have been happier to wait at home).
2- One of the mechanics told me my motor mount was cracked. The second mechanic told me not to worry; it was an old car. This seemed odd, because old or not, I wouldn't want to drive a car with a cracked mount.... Very concerned, I took my car upstate to my usual mechanic and he determined that it was actually the outer cover of the mount that was cracked, but not the metal of the mount itself.... If the guys had explained themselves better, it would have saved me extra stress and effort to make sure everything was ok.
Nevertheless, the guys did the job in one day and the car has been driving fine since then ... so, give them above average, and if I go back I will take their communication style into consideration....

I know parking sucks in new york city but it will be better if you keep your guy outside by the entr
ance area so that he can direct other drivers who come at your facility for repairs or services, such as where to wait for their turn to enter inside your building area. Advisor Stephanie provided good service so far. The work on my car was completed earlier than given time to me. Will return for future services!!
