$100 for a radiator cap
Place was clean, people where very nice, but the prices just didn't sit right with me. I had my previous car looked at and when it was something as simple as a radiator cap, they only charged me for the cap. Here I had to pay the full overheat inspection, labor, and for the gas cap which cost me over $100... Just for an $8 cap I could have replaced myself if only I had watched YouTube first.

We are sorry you feel dissatified with your experience. We did a coolant pressure test which is what allowed us to discover the cap was leaking. The cap only leaked when pressure was placed on the system. So a full diagnostic was performed on your vehicle. We shared the diagnostic fee upfront. We on occasions have unfair evaluation on sevices when compairing on a apple to oranges level. Clients at times can get better pricing on purchasing parts themselves or performing work themselves. We are glad we were able to help with your car. We are dissappoint that you do not see the value of the services we provide.

Thanks for providing us feedback. You are correct the total repair invoice with tax out the door was $287.07. There may be some confusion on your part concerning the breakdown of the invoice, and what we were asked to help repair. The car was towed in for a no start issue not general maintenance. The cost break downs are as follows: oil change $49.85, spark plugs $135.52, and no start diagnostic $79.99 plus tax and fees. We diagnosed that the cars oil was very low and dirty. Also the spark plugs were worn and carbon fouled. We recommend changing the oil and plugs as a first step to get the car running. Given the car's condition on arrival we are fortunate the first steps mediated your issues on the vehicle. We have ASE master technicians over seeing all work and offer a 4yr/48k warranty as an advanced mechanical repair shop. We realize that $288 can be a large figure. We only ask that you reconsider your review as the repair breakdown for work performed was priced at fair market.

Very clean and outgoing atmosphere , bummed they aren't open on weekends , also the didn't charge the guy in front of me for diagnostic but just drove my car and said hey this is whats going on and surely charged me the 59.99 . as a single mom that was BOLOGNA !

Hi Kimberly, there may be some confusion on your part. We did not waive the diagnostic fee for the client in front of you. He came in for a wheel alignment that we could not perform due to issues with his vehicle, so we did not charge him. You were informed of the diagnostic fee up front. We were very accommodating to you and your spirited young daughter. The brake diagnostic for your car included putting it on the lift, the wheels were taken off to thoroughly inspect the brakes, and the car was test driven. We found poor workmanship on the brake work from another shop. We offered to waive the brake diagnostic fee with the recommended brake repair, but you declined the repair. We were sympathetic of your situation and offered to also give you an additional 10% off. We also shared that the diagnostic would be credited toward the repair upon your return. We additionally made a recommendation on how to approach the other shop about the faulty brake repair they performed on your car the day before. We employ a single mom and can only imagine how difficult it can be at times. Unfortunately, we still have rent and payroll for the quality work that is performed. We are distressed that you have failed to direct your frustration toward the shop that charged you $200 for a faulty break repair. We hope you are able to find a resolution that meets your needs.

She had to take her vehicle to another facility, where they found the problem and fixed it. They need to double check the vehicles and make sure they diagnose the problem correctly.

The vehicle was brought to for a no start issue. The car did not demonstrate any issues while in our possession aside from a dead battery. We charged the battery and restested. The alternator and battery tested fine. We found a dome light had been left on and that was what had caused the drained battery. We also shared in the event the car started acting up again, to bring it back and we would check it out for free. Per our discussion the repairs mention in your review, which were performed at the other shop, were for overheating and brake issues. We perform no diagnostics related to these areas of the vehicle nor was their any issue described by you to us. Unfortunately, we could not waive the diagnostic fee as we had to account for our mechinics time spent on the car. We are glad you were able to get the vehicle fixed.

My EXPENSIVE Honda Repair
In my 42 years of driving a car I have NEVER been charged so much for labor. My repair bill was OVER 770 dollars and 541 dollars of that was for "LABOR". Using some computer to diagnose a problem is a clever way to find out what is wrong with the vehicle by to charge for that time connected on the computer is a waste of my hard earned money. I would like to think that these mechanic's that you have working for you can FIND the problem on their own. (my car over heated and the problem was apparently the radiator)
Understandably I was in a bind after being stranded in Brentwood and ending up calling this repair shop for much needed assistance. But getting the FIRST phone call from this repair shop and being told that it was going to cost me 147 dollars to just look at the car...come on that is just taking advantage of people.
I have told my friends (Tullahoma and beyond) that this repair shop, I feel, takes advantage of people. And if this review is posted I want any and everyone that the repairs at this shop are too expensive for the "blue collar worker" and if they can go elsewhere for all their automotive repairs.
Oh yea...I did get a 54 dollar discount.....

Sorry you feel that our pricing structure did not meet your budget requirements. The radiator labor portion of the repair was only $248 the part was $127.87. We spent several hours diagnosing your vehicle, yet we waived the first diagnostic hour. Many coolant leaks are easily determined by a coolant pressure test. The leak from your radiator was a hairline seam which was much harder to detect and took additional diagnostic time. Additionally, we also replaced a thermostat and relay which was additional parts and labor. Also you requested we perform a brake inspection and stated our pricing was in line with another brake estimate you received. We would have waived the brake inspection if you had approved the brake repair. You have a 4yr/48k parts and labor warranty on the work performed. We also helped you coordinate your tow. We have many "blue collar" customers and have aways worked hard to provide a quality repair at affordable prices. While our pricing might not always be the least expensive, we are often told our pricing is less expensive considering the ASE Master Tech expertise, OEM parts we use, the warranty, and free loaner cars. We wish you the best with your future car car needs.

Hi Gene, we were delayed in completing the alignment that was associated with the suspension work that was performed on your vehicle. We were offering to remove the alignment cost from the ticket since we had not performed the work. We asked if you had time to wait to complete the alignment. We completed the alignment first thing that morning. We can understand from your perspective how this could have been misinterpreted. We are truly sorry for any miscommunication. Only low point was my wife does like dogs and is allergic to dogs. Their dog was free to roam the waiting area, not to wife liking.

We apologize for any discomfort that Bama may have caused your wife. As a poodle he is hypo-alergenic and does not shed. He also has an invisible collar so he does not leave the property. We also have had him professionally trained. While not a perfect dog many of our clients ask for him. Next visit let us know you are coming, and Bama will be removed from the lobby when you arrive.
