Different Experience
Unfortunately, this last service visit wasn’t the best. While I’ve akways had a good positive experience with the service team in the past, this time was different.

Great staff, crappy parts
The staff was great. The waiting room was great. The timeliness was great. But the parts they sell are overpriced and crappy. They are literally the only dealership that has a 2 year warranty on a battery. It's a freakin' car not a flashlight. Most if not all other places offer 5 year warranties. Since I've had this car, I have replaced this battery 3 times. They only have on file 1 other time. I'm getting suspicious. Like I said. Great staff. They do what they can, but the dealership prices, parts, and maintenance needs improvement.

Staff is great, service is extremely slow
There is absolutely no point in making appointments here. In fact, I think every time I have made an appointment it actually takes longer than when I do. Even something like a routine oil change, on average, takes 2-3 hours, if not more. Not sure if they are understaffed or simply have terrible prioritization. Either way, the wait times are unacceptable if you had an appointment. I have gone to this location for EVERY one of my car services over the past 5 years and have always had this issue. At best, about 30% of my appointments have been completed in a timely manner. For example, when I make my appointments, I always ask how long the service is expected to take. For my most recent service, all I needed done was an oil change and two system updates (for a recall). I was said it would take no more than an hour with a car wash and closer to 45 minutes with no car wash. On the day I got my car serviced, it was pouring rain, so no car wash was needed. Knowing beforehand that their quotes are always remarkably off, I decided to go to the movie theatre down the street to watch a two hour film, fully expecting my car to be ready by the time I get back. My appointment was at 11am (I arrived at 10:45am) and I got back to the dealership at 2:30. Low an behold, my car was not finished. In fact, I had to wait another 30 minutes. I had somewhere to be at 3pm and I ended up being 20 minutes late.

The timeliness and costs for major services are my only qualms with this dealership. I've complained about the timeliness issue before and it hasn't gotten remotely better. Aside from that, the staff is always great. I typically deal with Mario, who is extremely friendly and tries his best to help. I also like that they have computers with internet, tvs, and food and drinks in the lounge area.

Poor customer services
Staffs were not attentive to customers with no happy greetings at all.
They need to explain in detail about service process clearly and make sure customers understand what’s and how it’s being done.
Also customers need to be informed about the status of service and especially when it’s taking longer than promised.

Overall the experience was good. However, follow through on problem identified at this service has been extremely poor. I did not receive the assured follow up phone call as stated; it took me 3 phone calls initiated by me before i received an answer. That response has left me extremely uneasy. I attempted another three phone calls to speak with the service manager or assistant service manager, and have yet to receive a call back. I waited on hold for 15 minutes the third time, and gave up. I honestly am not certain of the trustworthiness or honesty of the service department; considering the extrmely poor experience I had previous to this I can honestly say there are issues on my part which may never be resolved.

Attitude Check
Hyundai is usually good about their service, but not this time. I came in for a recall service, but the necessary part has been on backorder. What I don't understand is why they could not notify me of this earlier if they knew this beforehand. The staff gave me attitude in saying that he could have me wait for 3 hours to get my car inspected and waste my and his technician's time, but he doesn't want to do that (how generous of you!). Thank you for letting me ring in the new year by sitting in traffic on the way home without any service done.

Based on last service technician
This visit was corrected from my last visit. The service tech who did my oil change must have been in a hurry and didn’t fully go over that my oil was change properly and all plugs and gaskets were in place. I am glad that I am smart enough not to drive my car once I realized something was wrong but all of my oil fell out of my car and was all over my garage and driveway. This is not a good thing. I was also having trouble starting my car and they were going to give it back to me if they couldn’t duplicate the problem. My battery was not checked on the diagnostic machine until I had to leave my car overnight. Because of my trouble I should have received some free oil changes or something, but I received nothing except for a small discount on my new battery that I just replaced in May if 2016. My battery should have not went bad already. I am a little disappointed in the things that happened.

They’ll lie to make xtra monwy
I went in for recall notice and that service was fine but We were lied to by the staff regarding my oil. I was told my oil was “sludge”. That was blatantly untrue. I had done an oil change 8,000 miles earlier with a high quality synthetic oil. That oil was rated for 10,000 miles. My father-in-law took the car in for me on this service and was unaware of the oil we had used. This precipitated an uncomfortable discussion with him as he tried to reprimand me based on what your incompetent staff told him. I had to show him the new synthetic oil ratings and how long they last. He took it in for oil change to verify and they told him nothing was wrong. I then called to complain to your staff that day. I was made to leave a message for your manager because “he was busy.” Well, a week later and he never called me back. Needless to say this feedback email just reminded me I need to leave this all in a yelp review. I will only return here for factory recall issues and will never trust you again.

Never go there. Bad dealership.
I'm not going there again. My car was working fine when I came into the dealership. I was there just to check the battery light. I told them I will return tomorrow to make repairs but when I tried to leave my car didnt start. I was forced to make repairs there. It was very fishy that the battery just died when I tried to leave.

you brought your vehicle in for us to diagnose your warning light. your battery light was on due to a charging system failure causing the battery drain.
when i spoke to you i explained this would be a unsafe condition for you to drive. the options we discussed were have us fix it, tow to another location,or take your chances driving it. we discounted labor and installed a aftermarket part to save you money.
please call me if this is not correct.

Service center is not what it used to be.
The front staff is still awesome and very helpful. It seems the prices have gone up since becoming Russell. The level of service we have recived on a mechanical stand point leaves much to be desired. The car "magically" develops new issues and after the last trip the A/C that was working when it was taken in is now not working. Fully expect to be told that they "can't replicate the issue".

Poor communication and not customer service oriented
Repairs made on my car were not communicated to me prior to making them (granted they were covered under warranty). Other repairs that I requested were not fixed. When I picked up my vehicle, nothing was explained to me as to what was done and what wasn't and why. I had review the paperwork to see what has repaired and what wasn't. No ride service available. What dealership does not provide a ride to work or home within reason? Service Writer tried to diagnose problem while writing up the service order. He was way off, are they mechanics? Not happy with this Hyundai Dealership that appears to be under new ownership. I've been there many times before and never had any issues like this.
