Poor Customer service!!
I Had a appointment for Tuesday!!! You did not even look at it till Wednesday afternoon. So are you following me here Tuesday APPOINTMENT you did not even pull my truck in to look at it till WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!! I had a oil change about a month ago there with APPOINTMENT was there for 40 minutes before you even pulled it in to work on it. YOU FOLLOWING ME APPOINTMENT! And your first strike was like 6 months ago had APPOINTMENT for my wife's car dropped it off night before we go by next day at 4:45. You said we are so sorry we forgot about your car. Had to come back next day. SO IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS TIME YOU GOT THREE STRIKES! SO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? YOUR OUT!!

Reviews like this sting - but you are correct and we thank you for taking the time to leave us an honest review.  We do the best we can to commit to a time for a car to be serviced or repaired and sometimes cars do not cooperate - bolts break, technicians call in sick, things happen.  Its no excuse and I'm sorry that we have wasted your time and not planned or communicated accordingly so that your experience was better . . . 
Again, my sincerest apology that we did not exceed all of your expectations, I will read your review to our staff verbatum in the morning so that we might learn and improve from this.

Monty said this business did the ball-bearings on the front end of his vehicle. They did a front brake job with out calling and asking him first. He did not really have the money as he is on a fixed income. Other than that he had no complaints. He would have told them to wait for next month had they called ahead of time.

Friendly service but Problem not fixed
Thrifty mechanics were very kind and trying to save me money, which I do appreciate. They checked for the cause of a squeaking noise when going over bumps and told me that it was the bushings around a specific bar on the rear end of the vehicle. They said they lubricated it and solved the problem, but it began squeaking the same as before about two hours after I left. I feel that I paid money for no reason!

1994 truck serviced on wed. april 4.
I was unhappy with your service to my 1994 truck on my last appointment. I had an appt. for Tuesday the 3rd of April . I had the truck towed on Monday afternoon. You called at 5:15 on Wednesday. I realize I made a mistake on installing the battery per your service man. I was disappointed that the trucks speedometer and odometer were not working when I drove home. This is my first bad experience with your service. I realize you are extremely busy and you have been fair with me on all of my service on my other vehicles. Thanks for your hearing my frustration.

Cheap headlight change
Set an appointment to get my headlight bulb changed and came in the next day. Unfortunately had to wait a couple hours for the bulb to arrive. Not Thriftys fault, but maybe they could have gotten the bulb earlier in the day since the appointment was late in the afternoon. However, friendly service, the headlight now works, and charged me a surprisingly low price.

Took care of business.
Had an issue with a previous repair from there, that made the suspension worse instead of better. Took it back once and they said they found the problem, but they didn’t diagnose it correctly.
After several months and the tires wearing prematurely, I took it back in and Thrifty rediagnosed the problem, replaced the parts and two worn tires, so it rides and drives like new again.

Oil Change & Other Things
Everyone at Thrifty are always so nice. They always do a great job or if they cannot get the job done, they will give you a break on labor or send you to a local business that can help! That is what happened to me at my last visit. They were not able to figure out how to fix my problem, so they only charged me for part of the labor!! It was a great blessing to me and family financially! I will never go anywhere else for my car care needs!!!

Oil and Rotors Changed
It was easy to schedule an appointment to have my rotors looked at, and I was grateful that Thrifty replaced them for free because they were warped from the beginning. I didn't know it would take so much time and more communication about the amount of time it would need could have been helpful. ( I asked how long it would take after a half hour, and they were accurate in the time they estimated).
