Brandon said he had a blow out on one of his tires, so he borrowed 2 tires from a friend. When he went to this business to buy 2 new tires, there was a mix up with the tires. They ended up keeping his friend's tires. He got them back, but he had to ask for them. Also, they were supposed to use the matching rims he provided, but they used the wrong rims.

Because we were dealing with an extra set of rims and tires, our service writer misunderstood the directions from Brandon. We did make it right. We did pick up his truck at his work and delivered it when done at no cost to him. We did apologize to Brandon for the mix up. I did call Brandon when I recieved this and he said he was encouraged by the caller to say some of the things he said. We have straighten everything out and he has an appointment next week for more work.

Melissa said she had the worst experience at this business two times in a row. There was a wiring issue with her vehicle and when they repaired it, the fumes did not go with the wiring at all and they charged her $50.00. Shortly after having her vehicle repaired, she was driving and she got a warning from the police department, which was the same day her fumes had popped off. She spent $180 in addition to the initial repair and they charged her an additional $50.00 to disconnect her wires, which did not resolve the issue at all. She went to a different business who fixed her vehicle for a more reasonable and inexpensive price. She will never return to this business again because of how poorly they treated her.

MELISSA CAME IN ON 3/7 WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE OF A LIGHT NOT WORKING. WE BROUGHT IT IN THE SHOP, CHECK BULBS AND WIRING. READING A WIRE DIAGRAM, WE LOCATED A BURN FUSE (NOT FUME). WE REPLACED THE FUSE. THE TECHNICIAN DROVE VAN IN TOWN USING THE LIGHTS TO VERIFY FUSE WOULD NOT BURN OUT. IT DID NOT. THE TECH HAD .6 HOUR OF TIME WHICH MELISSA WAS CHARGED $45. THE FUSE WAS .54CENTS. WITH TAX TOTAL WAS $47.82. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT WE WERE NOT SURE WAS CAUSED THE FUSE TO BURN. SHE SAID SHE UNDERSTOOD.
  ON 3/10 SHE CAME IN SAYING THAT IT DIDN'T WORK AGAIN. I TOLD HER WE NEEDED TO TAKE THE TIME TO DETERMINE WHAT THE CAUSE WAS. SHE UNDERSTOOD. UPON FURTHER TESTING, WE FOUND THE TRAILER LIGHT MODULE IN REAR CAUSING FUSE TO BURN. I GAVE HER A PRICE ON REPLACING IT. SHE SAID A COMPANY IN OSHKOSH HAD PUT THAT IN AND SHE WOULD TRY TO GET WARRANTY. THE TECH HAD .7 HOUR LABOR TESTING IT. LABOR WOULD BE $52.50 PLUS .54CENT FUSE, PLUS TAX. TOTAL INVOICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN $55.70. SHE WAS CHARGED $39.94. i DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE I COULD HAVE DONE FOR HER EXCEPT DO EVERYTHING FOR FREE. I FEEL HER COMMENTS ARE NOT JUSTIFIED.

Wrong radiator
I paid for a heavy duty radiator which they installed. Which had a leak. Which they replaced with a smaller radiator without telling me and without a discount. I had to notice it and report it for them to replace it with the larger radiator that I originally paid for. Trust lost.

I explained to Dan that the same part number was not available at the time of failure. My staff ordered a different brand. Apparently it was a standard size radiator that my tech did not notice or say anything. When Dan came back in after his no charge replacement job, he said it was a smaller radiator. I apoligized and told him I would find the correct size and take care of it at no charge. I do not know what else I could have done. Mistakes happen.

Adam said this business took his vehicle in for an alignment and they could not align it properly. He was not having issues before he took it in but now he is having issues with his vehicle. He would not recommend them to others because of this experience.

On 3-18-15 customer brought car in for tire rotation and 4 wheel alignment. After spending over 2 hours attempting to get car in correct alignment specs, customer was told and documented on repair order that we adjusted as best as possible, that parts were needed to get car into correct specs. He was only charged for a one hour alignment. 

 On 05-06-15, customers car was re-checked on alignment machine with customer present, spending close to an hour showing him where the issues were for his car. He said he understood. He was not charged for this service.

valve stem repair
While I was airing up my tires for a long trip to Kansas, KC to see our daughter, I had just finished the last tire when I heard air rushing out of the right rear tire. I had a faulty valve. Lucky I was a few yards away from the Auto Source building at a Quick Trip. It was already after 08:00 pm and Auto Source was closed so I drove very slow and carefully and parked in their parking lot. I was able to write up a slip for them to hopefully repair the tire in the morning as this was not a scheduled appointment. I called Tom the next morning to see if he was able to do the work on my car, and he said that they could. I called later that day to find out that it was more than just a stem replacement. He informed me they had to order the part, then install it and reset the system that reads the air pressure. It was suppose to be done after 3:00 pm and just when I was almost there he had called that it was finished. He went over everything that was done as he always does on all my auto work there. Everyone is very polite and helpful. I am always satisfied with his work. My brother takes his company's vehicle there also and is very satisfied with their work. Tom gets me a loner whenever one is available. I don't go anywhere else with my auto issues and wouldn't change.
