I explained to Dan that the same part number was not available at the time of failure. My staff ordered a different brand. Apparently it was a standard size radiator that my tech did not notice or say anything. When Dan came back in after his no charge replacement job, he said it was a smaller radiator. I apoligized and told him I would find the correct size and take care of it at no charge. I do not know what else I could have done. Mistakes happen.Tom Schmitzer
Because we were dealing with an extra set of rims and tires, our service writer misunderstood the directions from Brandon. We did make it right. We did pick up his truck at his work and delivered it when done at no cost to him. We did apologize to Brandon for the mix up. I did call Brandon when I recieved this and he said he was encouraged by the caller to say some of the things he said. We have straighten everything out and he has an appointment next week for more work.Tom Schmitzer
MELISSA CAME IN ON 3/7 WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE OF A LIGHT NOT WORKING. WE BROUGHT IT IN THE SHOP, CHECK BULBS AND WIRING. READING A WIRE DIAGRAM, WE LOCATED A BURN FUSE (NOT FUME). WE REPLACED THE FUSE. THE TECHNICIAN DROVE VAN IN TOWN USING THE LIGHTS TO VERIFY FUSE WOULD NOT BURN OUT. IT DID NOT. THE TECH HAD .6 HOUR OF TIME WHICH MELISSA WAS CHARGED $45. THE FUSE WAS .54CENTS. WITH TAX TOTAL WAS $47.82. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT WE WERE NOT SURE WAS CAUSED THE FUSE TO BURN. SHE SAID SHE UNDERSTOOD.
ON 3/10 SHE CAME IN SAYING THAT IT DIDN'T WORK AGAIN. I TOLD HER WE NEEDED TO TAKE THE TIME TO DETERMINE WHAT THE CAUSE WAS. SHE UNDERSTOOD. UPON FURTHER TESTING, WE FOUND THE TRAILER LIGHT MODULE IN REAR CAUSING FUSE TO BURN. I GAVE HER A PRICE ON REPLACING IT. SHE SAID A COMPANY IN OSHKOSH HAD PUT THAT IN AND SHE WOULD TRY TO GET WARRANTY. THE TECH HAD .7 HOUR LABOR TESTING IT. LABOR WOULD BE $52.50 PLUS .54CENT FUSE, PLUS TAX. TOTAL INVOICE SHOULD HAVE BEEN $55.70. SHE WAS CHARGED $39.94. i DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE I COULD HAVE DONE FOR HER EXCEPT DO EVERYTHING FOR FREE. I FEEL HER COMMENTS ARE NOT JUSTIFIED.
On 3-18-15 customer brought car in for tire rotation and 4 wheel alignment. After spending over 2 hours attempting to get car in correct alignment specs, customer was told and documented on repair order that we adjusted as best as possible, that parts were needed to get car into correct specs. He was only charged for a one hour alignment.
On 05-06-15, customers car was re-checked on alignment machine with customer present, spending close to an hour showing him where the issues were for his car. He said he understood. He was not charged for this service.
