Slightly disappointed
The original job was well done and in a timely manner. No complaints there. They dented the roof of my car somehow, but offered to pay for repairs, so that's only an inconvenience of time. However, I also asked them to check out the reason that my car wasn't heating. They did, and gave me an estimate for repairing the coolant crossover pipe gaskets after informing me that there was a leak. However, they failed to mention that there was hardly any coolant remaining and that my car would overheat in Nowheresville, Minnesota. Most places would have at least offered to top off the coolant and warned of the time sensitivity of the matter, it seems.

Doug said they tried to charge him three times the price than that of the dealership. He went in for transmission work and learned it was not related to the transmission. They charged him for the diagnostic. He would not recommend them to others because the dealership told him he would be better off going to them.

Vehicle was brought in for a transmission shifting complaint. We evaluated problem and found engine misfiring causing transmission to not shift properly. We evaluated that problem, then did a courtesy vehicle inspection. Estimated repair costs, contacted customer, customer declined repairs. We charged appropriate diagnostic fee. Customer came in to pick up vehicle, paid the bill, and talked with us about all the work that was needed on the vehicle. We made several estimates in order of priority, and customer said they would get back to us with what they wanted to do. We spent a lot of time on this vehicle, as it was the first time we've seen it and wanted to do a good thorough job with it. Did not know customer was dissatisfied with service or charges.

replace wrong parta
I have been there quit a bit and my most recent visit was a disaster. I went in to get a part replaced and they replaced the wrong on and are not going to make it right.

Peter said this business charged him around $38 to jiggle the steering wheel signal light multi-switch in order to get it to operate. They told him that if they needed to order a new switch it would cost $600, but he went online and found a new switch for $170. He will not recommend them based on this experience.

Peter requested that we diagnose a problem with his turn signals not working on the right, (passenger) side. Technician drove vehicle into shop, verified complaint. Technician could move the switch around and get the turn signals to work and not work. This is an indication of a faulty switch. New O.E. switch from Buick costs $658.58, aftermarket switch from one of our local vendors costs $524.54. Aftermarket switch from different local vendor costs $323.90, but we have had some problems with this brand of switch and did not recommend. Labor cost to replace switch is $62.37. We do not order parts "online" unless there are no other options. We try to use original equipment parts if possible or aftermarket parts from reputable local vendors. These parts are guaranteed. We are a professional automotive repair facility and cannot provide our services at no charge.

My Acadia gauge told me my tire had low pressure. Adam quickly found a nail in the center of the tread. 45 minutes later the tire was repaired. Since I had an important appointment on the north side of Fergus in the interim, I was furnished a loaner. Wow. thanks. ( I gave them a few dollars for the gas for it. A small price to pay for my convenience.)
