John said he had a lot of difficulties getting a rental vehicle through this business. He had to contact the regional manager to finally get a rental vehicle. There really wasn't any communication between him and this business and they did not keep him updated during the repair process. He would not recommend this business to others because they were not professional enough to keep him updated about the status of the vehicle.

The business ia approx. 210 miles from my home. Since purchasing my 2012 Beatle, I have required two trips to the service department for major
Problems. The new car has less than 2000 miles:
1. Recall on the automated windows-car contines to have high pitched whisltle
2. Un explained Disconnection of air coollant tubing causing canceling of a road trip & borrowing an advertisemrnt donor car while problem was

3. I was never offered reimbursement for mileasge from

Nice Sales People, But Check Engine Light came on 10 miles down the road.
I recently bought an 04 Toyota 4runner. It has high miles, but the truck is in amazing shape. Marvin was my salesmen, and was very helpful. Only issue is the Check engine light came on litterly 10 miles down the road. I know its a used vehicle, but honesty wins back customers. Since they had this truck for over 3 months on the lot, i can all but guaranty they knew about it, and just turned it off. Thats a shady way of doing business. Had they just been honest about the light (its a oxygen sensor, a $90 part) I still would have bought the truck for the same price. Nice guys, but kinda shady.

Richard said he expected this business to install a new antenna on his vehicle but that request was not followed through. He was told he could go to a junkyard and get one. They did not clean his vehicle like they said they would. He would not recommend them to others and he will never buy another vehicle from them in the future.

Good Service, No Sales.
Service staff very good, thorough and courteous. Work done as promised.

After dropping off old VW, thought I would check out a new one. Sales staff avoid eye contact, walked other way and never said hello, not even the receptionist, which I found extremely poor in a sales environment. Makes me seriously doubt that I will have a satisfying purchase of a new VW in Duluth. The twin cities VW dealers are a short distance away when making a large purchase such as an automobile. So VW wants to be the number one car company in the world, need to work on the Duluth sales force is a good place to start.

Great cars, POOR service!
Made an appointment for my TDI to be checked for potential off balanced wheel weights ( shaking car) and to add some adblue fluid. Waited 1 1/2 hours to find that they "washed" the car and got an explanation of dirt being built up in my wheels, thus causing the off balance feeling when driving. It was test driven and good to go. Also, they did not add the fluid because they couldn't tell how much was in there to start with.(??) I left, drove about 10 miles and returned for the same shaking, off balance feeling. I drove the mechanic to prove that it was not fixed, he agreed that it still shook. Anger set aside & long story short, I waited another hour and took another test drive-bam, fixed! I asked what it was and he said "dirt build up & a couple wheel weights were off." Why wasnt this done the FIRST time, instead of the all the hassel/excuses? Why not start the appointment off with what was needed to be looked at/fixed? 2 1/2 hours later and a handful of "sorrry's" makes me never want to go back there! This isn't the only BAD service story I have with them, but it's the newest and potentially the last! I love my car, but hate the service!

Please try to improve
I was told by someone (not my sales person) during signing that my car had heated seats..and I stated that if so then that would sway me to buy.. and I did, but after purchase, it didn't. Please.know the cars in detail before a customer signs. Called about a flyer received less than a week after purchase that listed incentives and a better pmnt plan to meet my needs. Also, another flyer came before my first pmnt that had listed even more incentives ($500 gas card or TV with ANY purchase for Feb and low pmnts). My explanation was that I bought the car in Jan so now Feb has it's own incentives..and they have been getting calls on this..so it's an issue. I don't like buying something that very shortly later(less than 30 days) could have been better for my needs (miles, pmnt per month etc). In the future, I would like to see more customer satisfaction met (don't just sell a car). I would like to see this dealership thrive- I love Volkswagens but could you please give more customer satisfaction-

Very pushy and sneaky
I was told my payment would be one thing, went in to sign papers and it was much higher. I said no to the northland protection about 5 times. They kept asking me well why? It's not that much more. Come on! Blah blah. Then he magically reduced my purchase price and interest rate so that the package would be basically free. Well why couldn't I just not get the package and still have you easily reduce my interest rate. Ect. Very sneaky and pushy.

Ron said he's still not happy with the vehicle since he got it back. They didn't fix it and its a 200 mile trip to go down there. However, he cant blame them for the issues with his vehicle. They can only fix it when the check engine light is on. He said the service was good, they treated him well and they got him in as soon as they could.

Julie said what she went to this business for did not happen while she was there, so they did not do anything to her vehicle. Her front passenger side door speaker has issues with the bass. When she plays certain music the bass is too loud. It has happened a few times after she took it there , she is unsure how they will repair it.

Elizabeth said she wishes they would have had the part in. She knew what part the vehicle needed but it was under warranty so she took it to this business. She drove 3 hours round trip just to find out that they didn't have the part. She had to go back home and wait until they could schedule it again and then drive another 3 hours round trip.
