Service department is completely dishonest!
Sent my wife to get the oil changed and tires rotated and balanced since her car is still under warranty. Well she walked out paying a 200 dollar bill for wiper blades, filters, and an oil change! Absolutely ridiculous that the service department would recommend cabin filters and such for a car that has only 13k miles! I know that filters last upwards of 35-45k miles. They called while she was at work and she didn't have time to fully understand what they were asking. If I were the service manager I'd be absolutely ashamed that my service reps were being dishonest saying that a customer needed this and that to make an extra dollar! Will never take my sonata back to Capitol Hyundai! Lesson learned the hard way! Still irritated about the whole situation and it's been a while since the service happened!

follow up (and Sarah Crews still rocks)
My initial negative review was due to a lack of follow-up. I was asked to call if the airbag light came back on after it was cleared. It did, almost immediately. On 2 different days, I called in and asked for a return call and got nothing. My initial visit was handled well given that I came in without an appointment and was unsure of the problem. Sarah Crews did a good job of keeping me informed of the progress they were making. Today was no different in that regard.

Very Disappointed
Paid for a tire rotation and balance but the tires varied up to 7lbs. When Bart, the manager called, he made excuses, thanked me for the information, and hung up abruptly. There was no offer to come back for a free service in the future or any type of compensation.

Uggghhhhh!!!!!!
3 hours for oil change and tire rotation!!!!! The customer representative stated I had a recall on my vehicle. I was told the recall repair would take no more than an extra 10 to 15 minutes on top of the promised hour for the routine maintenance. Capitol Hyundai is the only dealership that is within 25 miles of where I live and they are using it to their advantage.

The engine went out in 2012 Sonata. Hyundai did not inform the consumer. The dealership charged 10 dollars for gas to test drive the vehicle after the engine had been replaced.
