You have to wait forever for someone to come out!
They are always slow. I always have to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come out and begin the service. I'm going somewhere else from now on.

Battery replacement
Let me start by saying I retired from HMMA after 13.5 years in January and have bought 2 vehicles via the Hyundai Circle program. I went in on 22 April to get a battery replaced and the basic package on my 2010 Vera Cruz. I waited for the vehicle and after an hour I was told the vehicle was ready. The service advisor went over the invoice with me and stated the battery had been replaced and all the work was completed. When I got home (20 miles from the dealership) I raised the hood to look at the new battery. SURPRISE, the old battery was still in the vehicle. I immediately called the service manager and complained. He apologized and asked if I could return to the dealership. I returned and got the battery replaced and was given a business card saying the next oil change was free. Totally unacceptable!!! IS ANYONE CHECKING THE WORK THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY DONE?? Why say the work was done (and documented on the invoice) when it wasn't. Would they ever have noticed the discrepancy if I hadn't brought it to their attention. Trust is important and the service department lost quite a bit with me. I will continue to buy Hyundai vehicles and return to the dealership for future work, but they have got to do better!

Dealership stepped in to resolve issues
After having trouble dealing with the HMA national customer service rep, the dealership service manager stepped in and helped resolve the issues. We have since received our Tucson back with a brand new engine. Thank you Capitol Hyundai and Scott Schodorff.

Unsatisfied customer
My daughter called the service department regarding her 2012 sonata that she has brought in for recalls and has kept the oil changed. 4 weeks ago her engine locked up and the service department was less than helpful !! I'm very disappointed !! We have several family members and friends that own hyundai's I will be sure to let them know they do not stand behind their product !!

Terrible Experience
It took two months to get a part replaced under warranty when they said it would take two weeks. They never apoligized about the wait and told me each time that I called to check on it that it would be a week or so before it came in. Terrible experience and I have used them a lot in the past, but will have to think twice in the future.

Wasted trip
I needed a recalled part installed in my new Hyundai Elantra, was called and told the part was in I made an appointment. When I arrived at the scheduled time the service department had no clue about the part to install and had to order the part. This wasted my time.

Poor Communication Didn’t Fix My Car, Didn’t Value My Safety
Service Put New Engine&Starter in My 2011 Hyundai Sonata. When I Picked Up my car No one in Service Was in. I get in Car my Radio & Bluetooth Don’t Work (they Worked fine Prior) Plug phone into USB & Start Smelling Burning Smell, I Unplug Phone Cord it’s Extremely Hot to Touch & Burnt Phone Cord up & Car Drove Horrible! I get home look at Paperwork it says “Tire Separated Needs Immediate Attention” No One told Me Anything about A Tire, Allowed me to drive on What I Thought to be A “Good Tire” Ended up Exploded on me leaving Dent in my Car. When I Ask Craig he said “Oh I Forgot to Tell You” (as if No big Deal) in Fact it Was! He Couldn’t even tell me Which Tire! I talk to Consumer Affairs & advised to take it back to Dealership! I dealt with Ron Service Manager who was Rude and Denied Any Fault Before EVER Looking at my Car & insisting Nothing they Done or Didn’t do Caused My Problems! How would he know before Looking at it? He Blamed everything on my tire. Sold me new 1 that was $88 & said he’d give me A Discount for My Trouble. Tire Cost $114 Where’s the Discount? He calls I ask what he found AGAIN it Was Nothing to do with them & he didn’t know what the Problem Was! I was furious when he told me I should take it to Stero Shop where they can pull Radio Out & PROBABLY Find Reset Switch behind Radio, why did he do that? I ask about USB he said he Plugged Plug in & it worked, I ask if he left it plugged in for at least 10 minutes as I did he said “I don’t have one to do that” Again Not Caring About My Safety! My Car WONT START After New Engine & Starter! I Had it looked at was told Electrical wasn’t hooked up Properly and/or Electrical Wiring Could of burnt when Engine Seized. And Dealership Will NOT EXCEPT RESPONSIBILITY AND FIX MY CAR!

Slow service!

Bad advisor
They charged me $50 for a service repair that he couldn't explain. Vehicle was covered under warranty and all the serviceman did was play with the locks for 5 mins and they started back working.

The worst service department ever!!
My car is there in the service department and they are saying I need a new radiator. I have already had the radiator tested and nothing is wrong with it. They will not even check my air conditioner to see why it's not working. I am now having to pay $115 to get my car out when they have done nothing to it. They also want over $1000 to replace the radiator which is $350 at another shop. I was waiting on a call back from the service manager and he decided to just leave work at 5:30 without even returning my call. Now my car is stuck there until tomorrow morning. This is not the first time I have had to deal with this type of service from them. I would suggest nobody to ever buy a Hyundai and if you do definitely do not take it to the dealership in Montgomery.
