The service at Florin Road Hyundai was excellent
I feel that it was a pleasant experience at the Florin Road Hyundai,, however because I'm having an issue with the Honda dealership in Dublin California I feel that it will be hard for me to recommend Hyundai

THEY LOST MY KEY!!
When I went to pick up my vehicle, they could not find my key. I had to wait 45 minutes and none of the staff members would speak to me about it. They just kept pointing the finger at a technician "who lost it."

Thank you for our feedback about your visit. I just left you a message and I believe that you spoke with Dominic as well. Once again I am very sorry that this happened. Fortunately we did actually lose the keys to your vehicle, they were in the car locked in the technicians service bay for the weekend and not where they should have been when the car was completed. This is not an excuse, it is just what happened. I am sorry you had to feel this issue upon arrival to pick up the car. I will be putting a free oil change on the books for you if you would like to give us another chance to make this up to you. Thanks you.

Thank you for filling out our service review. We are always trying to improve our customer service so we really appreciate the feedback. I am sorry that you had a poor experience here at our dealership. Unfortunately we had no way to know that when changing our your wheel bearing that we would find that the hub was damaged as well. We understand that this was not a planned  expense. I did look back in our records and saw that we tried to locate an after market part to lessen the cost but none of our suppliers had a listing for that part as being available. Thank you again for the feedback.

Diagnose the Problem Before Applying a Fix
I've taken my previous cars in for service to other places before siting an issue, but because they couldn't duplicate the issue, they didn't want to charge me for unnecessary work. In this particular instance, the service dept applied a fix based on what my husband thought the problem was without actually driving the car and diagnosing the problem. And then after doing the work, no one test-drove the car to see if that solved it.

Horrible Service.
3 months my car was there. The dealership had to deal with insurance company so I'll spot them a month. Even with that it sat there 2 months to have the work completed. I was lied to about carpets being dried out and cleaned. The car sat 3 months before they completed the carpets. Now they have a permanent stake smell. Horrible!

Excellent vehicular products but inadequate service efficiency, timeliness and customer communications are liabilities.
Sacramento Hyundai does eventually manage to deliver the goods as promised (i.e. service and repairs), but there are significant issues with service timeliness, parts acquisition and customer communications that clearly need serious attention. Sacramento Hyundai does not, on that basis, compare as favorably with other nearby Hyundai dealer/service franchises (such as Roseville, CA, Hyundai). In all fairness, the quality of Hyundai franchised dealer service appears to vary remarkably from center to center, with some franchises performing services far more efficiently and timely than others. In my opinion, this is reflective of a need by Hyundai International USA to more completely monitor and actively promote (regulate?) maintenance of quality standards achieved by its franchised dealers across the continental United States market.

Alissa,

Thank you for taking the time to fill out our review. I am sorry that things went bad during your visit and now after the visit here. We alway try and top off all fluids anytime a service is done here. We do this as a no charge complimentary service. When I spoke to you on the phone after your service and you explained that the windshield washer fluid did not get topped off, I apologized and sent a technician to your work to top off this fluid. We made a mistake but I thought that by us going to your work and fixing our mistake that we would be all good. We were really trying to make things right with you. Now you are stating that your rear wiper is out of fluid after a couple of weeks. Well, on your vehicle both the front and rear share the same reservoir in which we did go to your work to top off. If your rear washer doesn't work but your fronts do, then there is a problem with the system that needs to be looked at by a Technician. I understand if you do not want to come back here, but I do think the system needs to be looked at. Once again I am very sorry for the inconvenience and please let me know if I can fix this.

Tired of poor service
Terrible communication, poor customer service, always long waits with the excuse they are short staffed. Waiting area is dirty and seats in disrepair. I turned my Toyota in for a Hyundai because I wanted a hybrid at a reasonable cost. I’ve had several recalls and bad service. I wish I kept my Toyota.

Service Department
Service department has really gone downhill. Have been a customer for over 2 years and after this last visit will be looking for another dealership to take my car to. From the beginning, having to wait 20 minutes to be checked in, to waiting over 2 hours for an oil change, to having to walk across the used car lot to find my car, to waiting at the end to have the oil reminder reset was a total disappointment!

Check engine loght
Car misfiring called service, no appointments available for at least a week. No chk engine light at this time so told not much can be done
Two days later chk engine light on. Dropped off Thursday picked up Friday. Saturday chk engine light came back on

Disappointed
I have been here many times and have witnessed the same type of rude behavior from Irving(?) and i’m Simply done. The way he demeans his peers in front of customers is shameful. He was so rude to a woman associate that was attempting to get some information for another customer that I was disgusted. He is very condescending to other staff and customers and quite frankly has no business being at your service counter.

What happened here?
Not sure what happened here but this place needs more staff in the service area. We overheard a serviceman tell someone that even though Hyundai dropped them off at work the person had to find another way to get their vehicle because the courtesy shuttle already left for its last round of pick ups (it was only 3 pm). I would be really upset if that was me and the serviceman dint care and was rude over the phone. Staff were gossiping about other staff. I have never seen this place like this before. The place needs more staff and new attitudes.
