Service department issues
Multiple issues with service department. From telling us the brakes are great and having them fail within days to saying we have lights out in the back and upon our own inspection no lights are out.

Good service, with attention to detail (Sales Team needs to learn from them!)
The Service Manager (gentleman by the name of Ray if I recall correctly?) that helped me was very professional and kind (while also covering the service desk for an employee that was out ill). He made sure that all was taken care of on the car, ordered replacement tire, and worked me in ASAP. The service team did an oil change and found a gouge on the sidewall that required another appointment to replace the tire - so their attention to detail is much appreciated, too. Service here gets a 5-star so far ... while the Fairfield Sales Team is lagging behind in not being responsive to delivering on promises made when two cars were purchased. Thus, my overall feedback is currently mixed.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!
These people will tell you ANYTHING to get you off the phone or out of their face. They are very careless and WILL NOT have you or your cars best interest. They will gladly collect your money though. I didn’t even want to go here in the first place but it was my only option at the time. Don’t waste your time going here. If you need a Hyundai location I totally recommend Hyundai in Stamford CT. They helped me pick out my first car and have provided amazing service every single visit. They work fast too and treat you very well. I wish I could’ve made it there instead of getting stuck with these terrible people.

Thank you for the review. I have noted in the system about your oil changes and hopefully there will be no more confusion. Unfortunately Batteries are covered two years from the original purchase date and prorated for one year after that with unlimited mileage. The original purchase date is 10/01/2012 for your car putting it at 61 months and 19 days as of today.I will call you today to discuss further.

Extra charge for parts delivery. No follow up by service.

Mary in service is great
In the course od havibg my vechile for over a week due to not being able to locate the noise I was hearing my case had been pushed to a few different people. When I was finally getting somewhere with one person I was not able to speak to them again. Mary is great and if it wasnt dor her i would have lost my mind. It seems as though no one communicates properly. I even provided a video recording of the noise and when I got a call from the 3rd person about the situation he asked me to take the car back and get a recording of the noise. I then said that I already had a video and it seems like there is a lack of communication as I was told that would be a great deal of help to solve the problem considering 2 people already had the video in their possession. Very fruatrating.

Ripped off
They raise the price of my car $3,000 in 12 hours when I went to sign the paperwork my price at Jump 3000 through never got a phone call letting me know it was going to happen in addition to the fact that they routinely put the temporary plate in the rear window which is illegal and I was harassed by the police pulled over many times never received as much as an apology nor reimbursement for my time and headaches

Follow-up
The issue was resolved successfully at no charge, which is much-appreciated. The company was prompt and courteous in their follow-up and quite apologetic about the previous poor communication. It turns out that I also need new tires which I will return for at another time. To their credit, they made the best of the situation.

Lack of information
I was not told that a rear reverse light was out even though the mechanic had noted this on the report. When I checked I found that it is indeed out. I was also not informed of a note on the form that said there is a drag the rear. I was simply told when I checked out that the multi-point inspection was complete and that everything checked out ok. Very disappointed to discover this was not the case when I got home and read the report.

I understand your frustrations with the phone system, we are in the process of upgrading and there have been some issues. We are working the kinks out daily. Mary is still here she was out of the office when you came in. I apologize for the wait time, you should have been advised the service and recall would take about an hour and a half and looking on your receipt it was an hour and twelve minutes. We also have upgrades in the works for the waiting area.
