The Service Was Great but I have a Problem With Hynundai's Concern for Their Customers
My car is less than a year old. I received a notification that the engine bearings could go and that I should install software that would warn me of the problem. I asked the service rep about this but didn't get much of an answer. In researching the problem on-line I found the problem goes back to 2014. That this problem is still there in 2018 engines seems to say that Hyundai has found it more cost efficient to find a software solution which won't prevent the problem instead of giving me an engine that doesn't have the problem. I don't think that is good customer policy by the Corporate heads that have made this decision.

Consideration
Had to call or e-mail more than once to reschedule an appointment. This was an inconvenience in my schedule and a lack of consideration on the part of Coastal Hyundai after following the companies own instructions. Was not pleased this time around and coupled with the above stated issue Coastal Hyundai has done away with many of the perks that keep customers coming back. Take a lesson from Toyota of Melbourne.

Great Staff, Great Service BUT still cannot detect issue with my vehicle.
There has been something wrong with my transmission for almost 2 years and every time I take my vehicle in the "issue cannot be detected", yet we feel it in our every day drive. Because of this issue, which is embarrassing when I drive my clients around, I am working to sell/ trade in my vehicle for something else . Until then, I will keep taking it to Hyundai to see if they can detect the issue that I notice every day.

Other than that, staff is wonderful.

Would not recommend for servicing.
After calling six times on three separate occasions (days) I was finally able to reach an employee that could schedule a day to get my car’s oil changed. When I arrived, an employee-I believe her name was Krystal-informed me that whoever scheduled my appointment mistakingly scheduled it for a time where I would need to keep my car overnight in order to service it (without telling me). The employee then told me she would text me and keep me updated about the state of my car throughout servicing (which I did not ask for but was pleasantly surprised), and then failed to do so. Lastly, when I came to pick up my car, the only information of what they had done for my car was a report they handed me. I was very disappointed in the customer service provided after having such a positive experience with the dealers at Coastal Hyundai. I do not reccomend this establishment for anything other than buying a vehicle :)

Everything was fine but nothing great. Courtesy inspection missed the burnt out tail light on left, burnt out bottom light on the right, burnt out license tag light. Can only assume no one was looking for lights, just brakes and tires. Lol! Also, got back to my unlocked car stored on the side of the lot and the middle console was wide open and riffled through. nothing seems missing, but would prefer my vehicle is left in the parking lot in a locked state.

I brought my vehicle here for service before a roadtrip to new York. The tech failed to fully inspect the vehicle and upon inspecting the vehicle in New York at an independent shop I come to find my brakes, calipers, and suspension all need work. I was lucky to get to New York alive. If you need service done please for your own safety go somewhere else.

First Service Department Visit
My first Service Department visit was to replace a defective part while under original warranty. Alfredo from the Service Department did an excellent job of making certain the correct replacement part was ordered and installed. The Coastal Hyundai Shuttle driver was very pleasant too. It was disappointing to have a part become defective a couple of months after purchasing my brand new Hyundai, but the Service Department did an excellent job of correcting the issue.
It's too soon to say whether I would recommend the Coastal Hyundai Service Department based on my single under warranty Service visit.
