Great service writer, lengthy wait time
I made an appointment for an oil change and a rotation for 2:00 PM . My car was finished at 4:15 PM. That is way too long.

Lots of room for improvement
Cocoa Hyundai Service seems to have hit on what they believe to be a "sweet spot" for me... Several years ago I noticed that every time I brought my car in for an oil change or other minor service, they always seemed to find about $400 +/- $50 in additional "needed" and/or "recommended" repairs for my vehicle. After a few of those, I started bringing their recommendations to another garage and found that typically half was either not needed or could be taken care of in a different -- much less expensive -- way. For example, Hyundai recommended a new AC control head for an issue (several hundred $$$) while the other garage recommended a new resistor pack (about $100) and that took care of the problem. Another time (several years ago), when I had a broken door handle and a broken side mirror, the service manager (at the time -- hopefully that one's gone) told me the door handle was covered by warrantee only if I also had them replace the mirror, otherwise the door handle wouldn't be covered! That tells me that he was either lying to me (if the handle should be covered) or to Hyundai (if it shouldn't). Regardless, another shop did BOTH for less than Hyundai wanted to replace the mirror -- and used genuine Hyundai parts to do it!

Never again!!!
We took our 2007 Hyundai Elantra in to be serviced because the airbag light on the dashboard came on. After Hyundai Service checked the car, we were told that the airbag module needed to be replaced at $1000.00+. We paid the $55.00 service fee and left to make a decision. Not wanting to put over $1000 into an older car, we began looking for a new car. Meanwhile, my husband was checking our Elantra over to make sure all was OK for a trade-in. When he checked all the fuses, he found that the 15 AMP fuse in the airbag circuit WAS MISSING! He replaced the fuse, and the airbag light on the dashboard went out. Voila!! Problem fixed and no immediate need to buy a new car. QUESTIONS: 1) What happened to the original 15 AMP fuse? 2) Why didn’t Service check the fuses first? 3) When a little fuse fixed the problem, why did Hyundai tell us the problem was a defunct airbag module? We will NEVER go to this dealer again. Not to be trusted. Incidentally, when we do buy a new car it will be a Toyota RAVE 4 XLE.

Was charged $50 to have mechanic look at car. Issue not resolved. Diagnosed has having loose spark plug connection, but this had been checked at home and plugs and coils were tight, so that couldn't have been the problem.

Oil change
First time the employees weren't rude. They took 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation, it doesn't take that long and I made an appointment!!! I'm only writing a review because they won't stop calling me or emailing me for a review -___-

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!....but...
I have mixed feelings about this revised review because this process grades the customer service of individuals, of which, I found the customer service to be very good, to include prompt follow-up by the customer service manager about a billing problem. I do think this survey rating needs to be more readily identifiable about the performance of individuals verses the company processes. The new company billing process is terrible! We had to endure a financial problem after coming in for a $20 service only to have a single mistaken extra keystroke tie up several hundred dollars in our bank account for three days. As I type this I have made several keystroke errors, however, I can simply make a correction and continue on. Your new billing system does not allow for that! What if it was two extra keystrokes? Clearly, you are aware of this problem. Give strong consideration to fixing this serious technical problem and empower your staff to be able to problem solve in house instead of needing to call a third party for help. Which in our case...still did not resolve the problem promptly.

The 2013 Sonata that I have now is a grade above the 2011 I had. The 2011 was awful and was in service more than not. I would drive to Melbourne for repairs but since I bought from Cocoa there is a charge for service. The car normally runs fine for a short period after service. I just wish there was more honesty than deception with dealerships.

Be prepared to pay an over inflated bill and for your "service professional" to find imaginary problems with your car. You can't get out of there for less than $1,000. Helping them pay for their shiny new show room I suppose.
