Nothing
Was charged $50 to have mechanic look at car. Issue not resolved. Diagnosed has having loose spark plug connection, but this had been checked at home and plugs and coils were tight, so that couldn't have been the problem.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!....but...
I have mixed feelings about this revised review because this process grades the customer service of individuals, of which, I found the customer service to be very good, to include prompt follow-up by the customer service manager about a billing problem. I do think this survey rating needs to be more readily identifiable about the performance of individuals verses the company processes. The new company billing process is terrible! We had to endure a financial problem after coming in for a $20 service only to have a single mistaken extra keystroke tie up several hundred dollars in our bank account for three days. As I type this I have made several keystroke errors, however, I can simply make a correction and continue on. Your new billing system does not allow for that! What if it was two extra keystrokes? Clearly, you are aware of this problem. Give strong consideration to fixing this serious technical problem and empower your staff to be able to problem solve in house instead of needing to call a third party for help. Which in our case...still did not resolve the problem promptly.

Dishonest and unprofessional
Be prepared to pay an over inflated bill and for your "service professional" to find imaginary problems with your car. You can't get out of there for less than $1,000. Helping them pay for their shiny new show room I suppose.

Brought my '15 Elantra in just for an oil change and to check tire pressure. They came to me about my cabin air filter, which was dirty and looked like a critter got into it and the air filter, which was a little dirty. They wanted to charge 68 dollars for the cabin air filter and 35 dollars for the air filter. We said "no" we would do it ourselves. We left and went and got something to eat and when we left the restaurant, we turned the air up and it was making a loud noise. Brought it back to them, our service guy told us to change the filter, didn't even come listen to the noise. I expect when I bring my car in without a noise and leave with a noise they should look into to it. They told us they tapped the filter out but no they didn't. It still had all the stuff it had when he showed us, so that was a lie. We came home and went and got a cabin air filter for 18 dollars and it took all of 5 minutes to put it in and they wanted me to pay 68 dollars. Talk about a rip off. They already had it apart without my consent and want to charge me that much in labor for a two minute job.

Prior to this last visit for correction of factory defect, and them telling me about the Air Conditioner repair not being covered, I was a Totally satisfied customer.Service personnel waiting area, rides home, helpfulness, courtesy, etc. All were a 5.

MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 12/14/2015

We are sorry to hear you are not happy after your last visit. Your vehicle is out of your basic 5 year warranty and that is the reason the repair is not covered. However, you still have the powertrain warranty. We thank you for your business and look forward to servicing your vehicle in the future.

Liars
I can not believe how many times I was lied to by this dealership. They had 18,000 on a sticker and brought me paperwork for 19,999. I was told the car that I saw online was already sold and no longer available, and then to find out it was just hidden from the public so it wouldn't be sold. When they found my car behind a fence in front of the body shop they still had to keep me there for four hours to work the deal. They promised me that they were taking the warranty back to original and gave me free oils changes for life. I just took it in for service and guess what?? I paid for the free oil change that took them 2 hours to complete. I am not impressed with them at all and I truly do hate liars cheaters and thieves and they have managed to be all of the above!! Thanks for showing me where to never get a car from again!!
MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 01/09/2015

I have reviewed all your paperwork from the sales transaction and there was nothing in your deal about free oil changes. The free oil change program is for all new cars purchased. You purchased a used vehicle.
The person who brought the vehicle in arrived at 7:55 and paperwork was completed at 8:59. The vehicle came in for an oil change and also to have a noise checked out. Vehicle was completed in one hour.

My 2014 Sonata is stalling out at idle, hesitates on acceleration and has difficulty making it up an incline (bridge). They can't duplicate it at first try, so sent me home after telling me I *might* be mistaking RPM's for fuel consumption. Seriously????

not great. George was rude as heck
I cannot believe that they actually sent this to me. My experience with cocoa Hyundai in George was god awful. My brother Paul Pelletier is there a general manager our planet Hyundai in Las Vegas Nevada. That is why I got my car from. I thought for sure that I would have no issues when I found out that my brand new car had no air conditioning the single mom aside children and I was without air for 8 days. I also had to purchase my own rental vehicle which cost me $75. George was very rude to me and my husband no common courtesy at all very disrespectful and I will never return

Hyundai is into screwing you if possible.
Twice this year Hyundai has tried to get me to pay for items that were covered under my warranty. This time I was told I didn't have an extended warranty. When I explained I paid $2,000 for one I was told I was wrong. Once we found my purchase paperwork then the problem was corrected. People make mistakes. The problem is Hyundai was never on my side. The kept telling me I was wrong. This is the second time this year I have had a problem. Last year I paid $1,800 to fix my turbo when it should have been covered under the warranty but they used the excuse that I was out of my 5000 mile oil change when I had multiple people tell me that wasn't the reason it went bad. Then I drove two miles off the lot and car broke down because they put a bad turbo in my car and it overheated the engine. Hyundai is not on the customers side. I have already made sure 3 people didn't buy a Hyundai and went somewhere else. I'm a single mother barely making it and all Hyundai wants to do is screw me out of warranty covered items.
MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 03/19/2014

We apoligize for the confusuon regarding your extended warranty. The vehicle was purchased at another Hyundai dealer and they have the records of your extended warranty. The dealer who you worked with regarding the turbo probably didn't have your information about your extended warranty. Only your selling dealer has the records of items you purchased at time of sale. Those records are private and not available at all Hyundai dealers. My suggestion is when you take your vehicle to a Hyundai dealer bring your extended warranty information. That will clear up any confusion.

didn't have the part, still chareged me!
I told the service manager what part was needed, 2 hours later he told me they don't have that part. and charged me $52 to tell me that was indeed the part I needed. Never again!
MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 03/11/2014

After reviewing your last service visit you stated you needed a temperature sensor. A temperature sensor is located under the hood and controls your cooling fan. After we diagnosed your complaint of the air conditioning not switching to heat we founf you needed a blend door actuator which would allow the door to open to heat. This part is located insie the vehicle and behibd the dashboard. Your diagnostic charge would have been part of the repair.

less than promised/ and charged for warranty work
I had several visits/ first visit was fine to make an appointment for a door handle under warranty and because the car had been stolen ordered wheel covers from the damage received while not in my possession/ and they stated when I came back to have them installed there would be no labor charge/ because they had to door handle anyway so when I came back thinking I would pay for nothing except the wheel covers/ I ordered a front end alignment/ wow here came the invoice the price of the wheel covers which I expected $140/ and the wheel alignment 89.95 so thinking the total would be $230 I was ok, then came the invoice $484, not only did they charge me for the labor for the wheel covers, they charged me for the door handle and the labor for that as well which was under warranty, when I called back Mr. Marty Tague informed me that they had to charge me for the labor for the wheel covers and he was so sorry that they charged me for the door handle and labor and he would send me a check/ that was on 2/3/14, today is 2/14/14 10 days later still waiting and when you call Marty he says he will check with accounting/ very poor business practices/ I will not be back back to Cocoa Hyundai/ Holler Hyundai is where I purchased the car and certainly a much better operation.
I will be notifying Hyundai corporate
