Faulty products
Spent $41 on a rear break light to be changed and the bulb was out the next day. Replaced on my own and has worked fine since. Total waste of money as the bulb was charged $6 and the labour as $36 for something that took 5 minutes on my own. Will never do again.

My routine service job (oil change etc) was perfect but my warranty work for a delaminated rear window tint was a scheduling mix up resulting in an extra trip to the dealership.

Plugs and Coils
My father who is a senior citizen, went to Cocoa Hyundai to get his car checked out because it wasn't running smoothly... Was told he had to pay $60 to get the car checked which was a little of a cheap shot but he still thought it was reasonable... After looking at the car, they came back with an estimate for plugs and coils for $830.00.... He was a little surprised and called me.... I quickly looked online and found the coil pack of 4 listed at $35 in several places as well as spark plugs for less than $30 for the set... so lets be generous and say $80 worth of parts... are you telling me Cocoa Hyundai that you'd rip off a senior citizen for $750 worth of time to change 4 plugs and 4 coils ? Needless to say he had the job done elsewhere for less than $200.00 parts and labor included.... Senior Citizens beware at Cocoa Hyundai
MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 09/18/2018

Good Morning Richard,
I apoligize that your dad did not have a good experience yesterday. It is never our intention to overcharge a customer, especially a senior citizen.
We only use Genuine Hyundai parts when we repair Hyundai's in our shop. We do not use aftermarket parts because we feel Hyundai parts are better quality  than the aftermarket parts.  The following is a breakdown of the what the charges were.
Coil $129.52 each x4
Plugs $7.70 each x 4
Labor $180.00
Thank you for your review and the oppurtunity to explain the estimate.

Horrible experience
Service department failed to coordinate with extended warranty several times. Scheduled on wrong day more than once. Did not fix all issues. Service manager did not resolve issue. Required calling the General Manager who was great and resolved the issue very quickly
MARTIN A T., FIXED OPERATIONS DIRECTOR from Cocoa Hyundai responded on 09/07/2018

Your aftermarlket extended warranty is not available during normal business hours and is also closed on Saturdays. Your appointment was scheduled on a Saturday and were not available to approve the work needed. Your extended warranty will not replace window motors if they are not broken.

Mr. Disch,

If you recall on your first visit your extended warranty (third party) paperwork had the wrong name and information. The paperwork had to be redone by the dealer who sold you the vehicle. We were then able to work on your vehicle.

Hour and 1/2 for an oil change
If the oil change was not free I would not ever take my car back there. My husband can change my oil in 20 minutes! I had to go to the service person and ask where my car was and he had the papers sitting on his desk. If your going to offer free oil changes I would suggest you do them in a timely manner.

Only Part Work done on my Hyundai automobile, work I paid for was never completed
I am very unhappy with Cocoa Hyundai. Over the past year and a half I have put my car in to their service department many times for repairs. Most recently I put my car in to be detailed and when I had my car back, I found it had only been partly detailed, the dashboard was never cleaned and never had armor all applied to it, there was still dirt on the rear seats and also still a stain on the front passenger seat, the seats had never been cleaned. I am making reports of this to Ripoff Report and Yelp websites. I will never take my car to this dealership ever again. Now I am wondering if the previous repairs I paid for them to do were only half done.

Never again!!!
We took our 2007 Hyundai Elantra in to be serviced because the airbag light on the dashboard came on. After Hyundai Service checked the car, we were told that the airbag module needed to be replaced at $1000.00+. We paid the $55.00 service fee and left to make a decision. Not wanting to put over $1000 into an older car, we began looking for a new car. Meanwhile, my husband was checking our Elantra over to make sure all was OK for a trade-in. When he checked all the fuses, he found that the 15 AMP fuse in the airbag circuit WAS MISSING! He replaced the fuse, and the airbag light on the dashboard went out. Voila!! Problem fixed and no immediate need to buy a new car. QUESTIONS: 1) What happened to the original 15 AMP fuse? 2) Why didn’t Service check the fuses first? 3) When a little fuse fixed the problem, why did Hyundai tell us the problem was a defunct airbag module? We will NEVER go to this dealer again. Not to be trusted. Incidentally, when we do buy a new car it will be a Toyota RAVE 4 XLE.

Nothing
Was charged $50 to have mechanic look at car. Issue not resolved. Diagnosed has having loose spark plug connection, but this had been checked at home and plugs and coils were tight, so that couldn't have been the problem.
