IT'S TRUE BUT SAD THAT SUCH A NICE LINE OF CARS NOT BEING TAKEN CARE PROPERLY AT THIS DEALER SHIP.

Poor
Mirak damaged my car while it was in for routine service, and failed to acknowledge it. I now need to file an insurance claim to try to get the damage repaired.

Not thrilled !

Warranty work ONLY!.
The cost for the tech just to look at my 2011 Sonata would have been almost $350, even if I chose NOT to have ANY repair work done.
It's unlikely the cost would be less; I brought my car to my mechanic.

I'll bring my car for warranty work only.

Too expensive
Each time I come in for just a regular oil change they miraculously find something else that causes me to stay longer and pay three times as much as I planned.

TOTALLY DESAPOINTED
I came for a “oil change”, the only thing that I was there for it. They had promised a very quick service, and it took almost 2 hours, they decided to also rotate my tires(they said the rotation is part of a oil change service) ;where they have found a “problem” and just to take one of those tires off they broked the screw inside AND CHARGED ME $130 for some “specialist” to fix it that. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS
2 weeks later before I go in a road trip I just went to other place just to make sure I had a reliable car to drive, and guess what? They have found the same problem and haven’t charged me to put a new screw on it , noting was charged. And before this service at Mirak I have never had any problem on this wheel, And by the way: I went there for this oil change because 3 months before I was there for a recall where they had to also changed the oil. the day that they have for the first time found this problem they told me: oh the last person that worked in your car made this problem.. and who was the last person? People in Mirak services.. and now they Refused that was their people...
I had to paid $180 in a day that I was prepared to pay a service of $40
I got very late at my job and had get a warning...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE MIRAK SERVICE FOR ANYONE

Took my car elsewhere, and it's now fixed.
I brought my car to the dealership twice. After $800-900 in repairs, a serious misfire was introduced, a second trip was required to fix that problem. However, the original concern was a noise in the engine. I was told it was "normal" for the age of the car and basically told to go away. There was no interest in actually diagnosing or fixing my problem.

After taking my car to the local shop, the mechanic had an idea of what was wrong almost instantly upon listening to the engine and confirmed that by fixing the exhaust problem for less than $200.

Car came back worse than when I left it...
Wonderful people, nice facility, very timely "repair." However, my car came back with more problems than it had when I dropped it off. I didn't come here to write a poor review and would have waited to do so but the customer service email drove me to a survey form that then dumped me on this page.

The specific problem to be addressed wasn't resolved. i.e. it's still happening and now there's a significant issue w/misfiring and lurching while at idle. I didn't pay over $800 to have my car come back in worse shape than it was before. I went to the dealership specifically because I figured they would do a better and more thorough job than a local shop.

Mistake Resolved!
After my compliant, the Mirak service center worked with me to get my car back into the shop for the button repair. Dan, the service manager, personally apologized and made it clear I would not get my car back until the problem was completely resolved. Cliff, my service advisor, was also great to work with. I'm very happy with the end result and would even consider going back for future repairs. Thank you again!!

Unacceptable customer service
In short, the Mirak Service Center has provided a complete lack customer service.
I made an 7:15am appointment on June 8th for some "recall" work and to get a plastic toggle button fixed on my steering wheel. It was my understanding this could take some time and I made arrangements with family/work. After 7 hours, my car was STILL NOT SEEN. By about 3pm by car was ready. After getting to the service center, I was informed the technician checked the "wrong" toggle button and reported that it was working. Why didn't the technician check all four buttons to be sure? It would have taken an extra 5 seconds to realize which button was broken. After leaving the dealership, I left feedback for Mirak. On June 11th, my service advisor was in touch with me and said he would be following up with me again tomorrow (June 12th). On June 18th, I never heard from him so I contacted him via email. As of today (June 21st), I still have not been contacted with a resolution. I feel brushed off, I feel neglected, and almost to the point of disrespected. This is not how to keep customers. I am an understanding and reasonable person. However it has been 2 weeks since my original appointment and still no "plan of action" or solution has been discussed.

When I bought my car from Mirak in November 2015, I was impressed with the whole buying experience. I recommend buying a car from Mirak, but avoid the service center.

Terrible service, terrible staff
Cliff’s overall attitude was very degrading and rude as he didn't even look at me and just looked at the computer screen when I asked him a question.

I scheduled an appointment for service and brought in my car for my radio is not working.

8AM: I drop off the car at the time of my appointment and Cliff told me he’ll call me back when the car is ready in couple hours (at first he told me 3 hours)

11AM: I called him to check the status of my car and they still haven’t checked my car yet! Apparently, scheduling 8am was just dropping off the car, not looking at the car at that specific time. He told me he'll look at it after he looks at other cars first. What is the point of making the appointment then?

3PM (7 HOURS after my scheduled appointment: This is when they actually started looking at the car.

5PM: Radio is still not fixed. They just gave me the car back and told me they ordered a new radio. That’s all they did. AND THAT TOOK 9 HOURS.

3 WEEKS LATER: still haven’t heard back from them.

If only he had told me it’s going to take the whole day, I would have not been waiting there and wasted all my time. Terrible customer service and terrible staffs. The service manager, Daniel, apologized but it didn’t really feel very genuine and didn’t really do anything for me in the end.

I ended up bringing my car to a different service center and it was a simple problem with the fuse. The other service center fixed it in 1 hour.

If you can’t pay they won’t answer
Took my car in because it was making a funny noise. After the diagnosis was complete the service professional told me it would be about 1400 dollars to fix. That was not in my budget at the moment and I don’t drive the car that often so I told the service professional that I wanted to pay for the diagnosis and pick up my car. As soon as I said I was not going to spend the 1400 he stopped responding to all communication attempts. They mainly use a texting service to communicate throughout the appointment. I sent several texts after inquiring on if I could pick up my car, he did not respond. I finally called and tracked someone else down in the service facility after being on hold for 20 minutes and was able to get my car. This was two days after I had originally anticipated.

I was charged for work my car did not need. I would expect Hyundai-trained technicians to know better. I also feel like I was overcharged for other "repairs" that I am not sure that I needed. I did discuss these issue with the service manager, and he was very helpful, but I will not be going back to Mirak Hyundai for service. Further, the women's room in waiting area was filthy and had no toilet paper or soap.
