Lazy
Took my vehicle in for oil change and decided to have tires rotated. Service was fast and I was told my tire pressure was filled back to 40 psi. My brand new 2016 sante fe told me 34-35, the same as when I brought it in. This makes me doubt my tires were even rotated since they can not even do the simple task of tire inflation. Who ever washed the vehicle left wet foot prints on the driver side floor board and seriously half-assed the job. I like taking my vehicle to here and paying more here(i could go somewhere cheaper) because I've always felt the job was done and done well but not anymore.

The people SEEM to really want to help but...
We really enjoy our Hyundai its a great car, but we recently went in and upgraded from a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, to a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and when we got home the Santa Fe was showing that it was heating up rather quickly. So I popped the hood and their was almost no coolant, so obviously called them but they really didn't seem to care just that they would look into it, but who knows what could have happened that night, if I wouldn't have checked either way its been almost a week and no one has called with any care about what happened and I have called twice, and both said they would just look into it....

Charged for an evaluation.
Took a sonata in for a engine noise, was told it needed replacement. Even though no work done on the car was charged just to evaluate it.

Hi Mike I am truly sorry that you feel this way. All shops have a set fee for diagnostics. Ours is $69.95 and my advisor charged you $39.95 so it sounds like he was trying to help you out. We are just like a doctor anytime you go to the doctor there is a co pay, we can not work for free.

First we apologize for any disservice that we may have provided. Since you chose Anonymous I have no idea what has gone on with your car, but I can say that there are a lot of variables that go into mpg. We are not the ones who post the mpg on the cars but I would be glad to do all that I can to check to see if there is some mechanical reason that you car may not be getting as good as it should. I have had my car since September of 2012. It went in for oil change which includes a car was and vacuum for $29.99 plus tax. The carpet was still dirty and the car was rinsed off. I had to take it back the next day because it leaked oil in my garage. They took car right in and didn't ask my name. I waited in lobby. I asked to speak to the manager and explained what happened with the oil change and the wash/vacuum. I even had pictures of the inside, outside of the car and the puddle of oil in my garage. I thought he might apologize. He said he would talk to his employees. Again he didn't ask my name. After waiting for 25 minutes I went to check on my car. It wasn't in the bay where they had been working on it. Went to the desk of the service person. My keys were on his desk. Nobody bothered to come and get me. I'm not very happy with the way I have been treated. I'm starting to look at trading my vehicle in. I am not in any way considering another car from Hyundai.

 I am truly sorry you had this experience. I apologize for not asking your name I was so focused on getting you taken care of that it slipped my mind. I did apologize that day and yes I did want to talk with my employees so that this did not happen again. It took a little bit of time because I wanted to make sure the guys cleaned your car better this time. Please remember the was is a courtesy and in no way has a bearing on the cost of your oil change. Yes they should have done a better job but when they wash 50 cars a day for people that don't want to be here any longer than they have to mistakes can be made. Again I am truly sorry and If you give us another chance I promise it will be better.

Misrepresented
I have a new Hyundai and had a tire go bad. When I call and asked about service was told they could do it all. Only to find out they do not do warranty work on tires. 3 hour of my time

Mr. Calvin we do not misrepresent. You had a blow out while driving on the highway and there is not a vehicle manufacture out there that warranties tires for that. When you buy a new car you have the opportunity to purchase a road hazard warranty that covers those issues. You drove on the flat tire until there was barley any tire left so there is no way we could tell weather the tire was defective or weather you hit something. I am sorry you feel the way you do and we will always do what we can to take care of a customer but we can only do so much.

Lies
When we bought our car we were sold a 3 year service package. We have had our car just over 2 years and the last oil change we had to pay for because they said we "were out of oil changes". We were obviously defrauded in the sale of this. If there were limits (example, 3 years or 10 oil changes) we should have been told that from the beginning.

      I am truly sorry if they mislead you in finance when they sold you the maintenece package. Those packages are based on you doing your oil changes every 7500 miles so if you do your oil changes say every 4000 you will run out before three years. If there is anything I can do to help let me know I can get you with someone in finance to see if they can help resolve this issure. As a service manager the last thing I want to be is mistrusted so please let me know what I can do. Thanks

Terrible Experiences
We had very bad service when we purchased our Elantra back in 2011. This was my first car purchase so I have to admit I was pretty green. We initially purchased a used SUV whose monthly payments on the paperwork were not what we agreed upon verbally. We reluctantly still signed and brought it home. Within the first week it died twice and we had to bring it for them to work on it. I went in and told them I couldn't keep that vehicle and we traded in on the new Elantra. (Lower payments and it was under warranty.)

Now about this service trip! I went in for a transmission fluid flush and found out there had been multiple recalls on the car. Nothing serious, but one would think that if Joe Machens can send me promo fliers and letters of pre approvals and trade-in deals monthly or more often they could also notify me of recalls on my vehicle. When I went to pay for my tranny flush they had charged me $50 more than what they had quoted. When I asked about it, they charged me for the warranty work. It then took them 20 minutes to get my paperwork fixed so I could pay them. They also had to order some parts for the warranty work. This was a Friday and I was told the part would be in by Wednesday and that they would call me. It is now 2 1/2 weeks later and I had to call them! The part was already in and I just got a 'yeah sorry I didn't call'. I'm going in today for the part to be replaced and am dreading it. I honestly don't know how they have such a good rating.

Sales/finance staff are bad. Service Dept is superior.
happy with service department. They are superior. BUT I was misled when I bought the car and was sold a bunch of stuff (maintenance contract, etc) that is absolutely worthless. The Service Dept is superior. The sales and finance dept are very disappointing and misleading.

They sell maintenance plans that screw you!
When we financed our car, the finance guy sold us a maintenance plan for $500 to include oil changes for as long as we own the car. NOPE! 5 oil changes, for $500. Pretty expensive oil changes!!!
