Worst Dealership Around
This car dealership is about as terrible as it gets, and I’ve purchased several cars at several dealerships across several different states. After having two totaled vehicles from a hail storm where I live (and the car prices being gauged following the storm where I live), I made the choice to look for a new vehicle in Tupelo where I was working and drive it home. They gave me fake promises about something they would add on to the vehicle before I left town that would be included in the price, but weren’t able to do it in time so I was just supposed to go without. I purchased the vehicle on a Wednesday, drove home on Friday, and a week later they called me saying that I needed to get them paperwork immediately because the deal needed it. Paperwork I didn’t have time to get before leaving for a remote vacation where I didn’t have access to my bank or the documents they needed. When I told them I’d get it for them as soon as I got home, they called and emailed me multiple times a day. The day before I got home, I got a call from the owner RUDELY telling me I needed to tell him where he could pick up HIS car. When I told him it was at my home 1200 miles away, he changed his tune and wanted to work things out. He offered some money, said he’d make the rest of it right, but then I got pushed over to Madonna the office manager now that he’d “resolved” the situation. I worked with them and got the necessary paperwork, but when I reminded her that he was sending me a check, it turned worse again and now they’re deducting over $600 from something she’d made a deal with the bank about to finish the processing and was going to take care of on their end but now that she knew that they were sending me a check, she was going to deduct it instead.

In essence, they don’t care anything about the person or the vehicles, they just care about the bottom line. They have no hesitance in lying to get you to sign on the bottom line, and will change their story when it suits them to get more money from you. I’d warn everyone away from Barnes Crossing Mazda Hyundai, as well as all of their other dealerships if they operate the same way this one does.

Took 1 hr 45 mins to get an oil change
Took 1 hr 45 mins to get a routine oil change. To make things worse I was told I could make an appointment to speed things up, which I did. Not sure why an appointment needs to be made to wait almost 2 hours for an oil change....

Poor Service
The technicians tried to sell me something I had just bought from them. My tires were never rotated as requested and told they were. A huge hole had almost went through my front tire and could have caused an accident if it had blown out. If my tires were rotated the day before during my oil change then the service department would have seen the hole and tremendous wear on the front tires. Very dissatisfied and I will never be back. I made a facebook post about about experience and more than fifty of my friends had similar issues with the service department.

Needs to be more time effiecent

If you like sitting in a showroom for hours and hours, or doing without a car for days, then this is the dealership for you.
If you think lack of communication is a good quality, you are in the right place.
If not. then my advice to you is, RUN, Run away as fast as you can.

Car on property for a week with “no” knowledge
After speaking with several people and being put “in the computer.” My car sat at this service department for a week. During which I was told my car had been worked on by “Zach.” The following day I received a call asking where my car was and what was wrong with it. Services were completed by the end of the day without informing me of the diagnosis or cost. Any time a call back was promised it was not received. Very poor communication.

Long wait, lack of communication
