Great Place to do Business, a special thanks, to Rick Lynch who provided us with excellent service and a "GREAT DEAL"
It was such a pleasure dealing with Rick Lynch. He went above and beyond his normal duty's to satisfy our every need in trying to purchase a new Hyundai. We were so pleased with Rick and Southern States that we brought a friend back the same week to purchase a new car. She is also a happy, proud new owner of a Southern States New Hyundai Tuscon. Thanks Rick for a job well done.

Great Place
I regrettably made this post about Southern States. I am posting this reply to my post because sure critic does not allow me to take down this post. I am also posting that replied because I want to apologize for my post because its was false and misleading about Southern States, and was intended to interfere with Southern States business relationships with customers and potential customers employees and third-party partners and vendors. After working at Southern States for over eight years, I do know that their general manager and owner care greatly about their employees and customers continuously strive to keep their employees and customers happy. I would certainly recommend doing business with or working at Southern States.

Very unprofessional desk staff- Mr. Ryan Zimmer - at hyundai service
We are regular customers for years. But recent experience with Mr. Ryan Zimmer desk staff was horrible. Our review IS zero (0) star
1) Yelled and Noticeably shaked his head and sighed when things do not go as he wanted to. (i.e., lack of communication skills); 2) made a fun of our last name which we have never experienced with other staff here

Warranty repair 2015 Hyundai Sonata
Had motor problems and got car towed in on Jan 20th of 2019. Motor was deemed bad and a few days later was told it would be covered under warranty which is nice. But here we are March 7th of 2019 and I just called in to get an update and all of the parts have not come in. Been renting a car since breakdown and really have no clue when car might be ready. I did talk to Hyundai and started a case number, just ready to have some finality. Please help me out. Have been told that Hyundai will reimburse my rental expenses, concerned about my car sitting for a prolonged amount of time.

Outstanding Service
I purchased a Hyundai Elantra from a used car dealer. It was a 2016 with 30,000 miles. After 6 months it started to stall, jerk, and rev up. I took it to Southern States Hyundai to check it out. I found out that the transmission was bad and it needed to be replaced. The staff could not have been better. What could have turned out to be a very bad situation for me was handled wonderfully. Scott submitted warranty claims and my repair was 100% covered. They issued me a loaner car for the time it was in service and kept me updated. They went above and beyond in their customer service and I could not have been happier. Thank you for making me a believer in good customer service again and thank you Scott and team for all you did.

Today, an employee of yours Nina Holmes made me cry. She went above and beyond in more ways than one and I can’t thank her enough! She already gave superior service but she went above and beyond to make sure I was “okay” but things didn’t go as we had discussed in regards to my car. Nina - THANK YOU!

Avoid This Place!
Stay away from this place if you can help it. This is the most disorganized, uncoordinated and mismanaged service dept.I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with in all my years of owning vehicles. They seem to employ the most inept and indifferent bunch of folks lacking in communication and people skills imaginable. They do not answer their phones and make no attempts to call and update you on pending matters such as ordered parts, scheduling appointments or repairs forcing you to physically visit the location to resolve any issues that might have arisen. And when you do visit, the "service advisors" all seem to be in competition as to which one can ignore you the longest before one of them manages to acknowledge your presence ( I've received more efficient and courteous service at the DMV ). They seem to be free of any serious supervision, and when a mistake is brought to their attention they dismiss it with some inane excuse. In the last 2 months I've had the bad luck of dealing with this place over a defect to my driver's seat, and every time I've been disappointed and frustrated with their mishandling of the issue. On 2 occasions they've ordered the wrong part for my vehicle, and on both occasions they've failed to inform me of the problem prior to my scheduled appearance at their place for the repair. Yesterday was the 2nd occasion when my patience finally ran out. I left my car at the service shop to address the defect to my driver's seat and was told the repair would take about 6 hrs.. After 7 hours and no call from the shop, as well as numerous calls to the service dept. in which no one answered the phone, I went to the shop to see about my car. I was stunned to learn that no repairs had been made to the now dismantled driver's seat because the wrong part ( again) had been ordered. They had allowed the car to sit unrepaired for over 7 hrs. and no one had thought about calling me to inform me of the setback. In frustration I demanded the reinstallation of the driver's seat and drove out with the same damaged seat hopefully never to visit this place again. As a result of this experience I doubt if I will ever consider buying another Hyundai. An experience which I will surely relate to family and friends who might one day consider a Hyundai.

Long wait

Horrible service
Don't waste your time. Vehicles not being ready when it was promised. The customer service is unresponsive to phone calls and has the audacity to put the responsibility of the mistake of the car not being ready on the customer.
