Not free oil changes, a scam on the public
They advertise "Home of the free oil change", but it is anything but free. It was told to me for the first time that I must have the 15K mile maintenance done at their store in order to continue to get free oil changes. That was never told to me or the others I spoke to in the waiting area. I will be reporting Henderson Hyundai to one of the local tv consumer affair people, the BBB, and select the best way for me to proceed with legal action against Henderson Hyundai for their deceptive advertising. They should be ashamed!

Have lost me as a customer
I was sold a warranty and the explanation that came with it said I would receive a specific service. When I took my vehicle in to have that specific service, I was told that was not the type of warranty I purchased, and it would not be honored. I called to question it, and I was told by the Finance person Nicholas, "I will check on this and call you back in 10 minutes." This has been the longest 10 minutes I have ever suffered through. It has been a week and it was very obvious the minute I hung up with him that he would not be calling me back.

Terrible customer service!
Service advisors have mastered the art of double talk leaving customers confused and cash poor. Nothing is ever ready when promised. Apologies aren't sincere. It's all about how to get the most money from customers without really doing the work right.

You had 7 lines 3 of witch wear recalls with no appointment we service over 140 cars a day the free oil changes are done after 3pm m-f and on Saturdays. sorry for the inconvenience

Deception on service fees
Would've been nice to have been told that my 15,000 mile service was going to be $250. That was totally unexpected and that by the way was told to me when I pulled up for what I thought was going to be a free oil change. Was very upset and also to find out I have to pay $250 every 15,000 miles....and at 60,000 miles it will cost me almost $600?! That is ludicrous....and highway robbery. Ian already paying car payments....and I'm on a 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty supposedly. Why in the heck am I having to pay such exorbitant service fees??

And also the car wash was half-assed, still messy and the windows were streaked. If I'm paying that much ridiculous amounts of money for service I expect the job to be done right.

Very upset at the deception and sneaky business practice - not letting me know that it would cost that much money when I thought all service was free. Home of the lifetime free oil change? Sure for some of them....but here's all these hidden costs we never told you about. Horrible business practices.

Yes to maintain your free oil changes we ask you to do your major services with us 15,30,45,60K etc. This all should have been covered by your salesman when you bought your car. The 100K Warranty is for power-train witch requires you to maintain your car with reg maint and services. A 5/60K warranty covers most of the rest of the car.

Engine blew up in 2011 Sonata
Towed in from the desert with a blown engine in my 2011 Sonata turbo with 122,790 miles on Saturday afternoon. Dealer's first word's to me were "We are out of here in 19 minutes." Charged me $120 to read the engine error code and tell me it would take $960 to tell how much it would cost to fix the engine and it could be $5000 or $10000. Sold the car for junk.

the service managers are nice and all but the quality of the work that they do is not appropriate for the amount of money they charge also they do not wash your car when they say they will wash it

29.95 Is a vary good deal for a oil change and we use factory filters and top shelf oil, your car was not washed because the window was broken and down, we would be glad to fix you window so it could be washed next time.

Lies lies lies!
Was told I "had" to pay over $200 for "recommended" maintenance whether or not filters needed to be changed or not. Was told I signed an agreement when I bought my car however I have no copy of that document. When asked why I don't have a copy I was told I don't get one and they file it away. I'm very upset and considering legal action.

Disappointment in post-service care
I am disappointed in the post-service/customer service care done with my most recent visit to Hyundai Henderson. I purchased my vehicle at the Henderson location in 2012 and I am enrolled in the lifetime oil-change program. I have been routinely servicing my vehicle since the time of purchase and have been doing every recommendation made to me by my service advisor. I have been trusting Hyundai with my vehicle maintenance because I have a minimal knowledge base regarding vehicle mechanics and maintenance. I have been generally satisfied with the service done until the past two visits.
During this recent visit, I made an appointment for the routine oil change and inspection of my vehicle. Upon meeting with the initial serviceman, he did the routine inspection of my vehicle and I explained to him that I had new tires installed less than a month ago. He informed me that an alignment check would be done as vehicles with new tires should be checked for alignment, for future reference. I was pleased with this bit of information (this was probably the best customer service advice I had this visit). I was checked in with a synthetic oil change service to be done with an alignment check. The staff was generally pleasant with smiling faces despite being busy. I was pleased with the speed of the oil change, but was caught off guard because my service was normally >30 mins. I thought, "maybe I didn't find any problems with my car". Upon purchasing the vehicle, it was informed to me that during my routine service my car would be checked for any recommended services including tires, air cabin filter, etc., which is why I was surprised at the speed of the service that day.
The serviceman came to me promptly after my car pulled up to the pick up area. There was no recommendations made to me as usual. There was no informational sheet as I was used to detailing my current vehicle status. Instead there was an invoice with the synthetic oil check and an "We Recommend a Comprehensive Alignment Check" sheet. Seeing that I did not see the normal informational sheet and the Alignment Check sheet, at this time I was about to pay for my service, I asked my serviceman about the status of my car and if there was any recommended services for me to do. All the serviceman told me was, "you're good". Again, looking at the sheet, I inquired once more and he ensured me, "no you are good". Clearly, the sheet states, "We Recommend a Comprehensive Alignment Check", but there was no information given to me by the serviceman or a technician regarding my vehicle. At this time I paid for my service and I am questioning if any other checks were done on my vehicle. After receiving my invoice, I returned back to my vehicle. It has always been a habit of mine to check the sticker for the next oil change on the inside of my windshield. To my surprise, I noticed that there was no new sticker posted. This further added to my questioning about my recent service experience.
I plan to ask Hyundai about the services done on 1/29/15 with the service advisor and a service manager and inquire for further recommendations to my vehicle.

oil change
had oil changed a week ago slow drips of oil on garage floor smell of burnt oil leaking on converter will have to make a special trip back to check/stop leak and hopefully clean up bottom of sonata

Promises unfulfilled
Henderson Hundai sold me a service contract with my new car that lists many necessary services. But when I brought my car in for the 15,000 mile service, all I received was the free oil change they provide everyone. They failed to perform all 12 items listed in the service contract they promised me would be a "good deal". This stealership does not do what they promise, BEWARE!!! If 0 stars was an option, I would have chose no stars.

HORRIBLE WARRANTY
HORRIBLE WARRANTY. They will tell you anything to get your business. Once they do, none of the warranty will apply and you are still out of pocket.

recall on door latches
Arrived for appt for recall on door latches. 2 hrs left with front bumper damaged and steering eratic, upon calling to ask for help no help . so so disapointed in henderson hyundai. had so much pride in dealership and car before. we are not good at begging for help and shocked at the not our fault attitude.

Dents in car.
Apparently I have hail damage on the car I bought that I did not notice, the service writer noticed it. Hyundai rep looked at it and said yes it is hail damage and that was it. No hail in Vegas but I guess I did it? I won't buy another Hyundai after this one they have no problem selling it but won't take care of it if theres an issue.

Anda, the reason for the decline from Hyundai rep is the lenght of time from when you bought it until the complaint. You purchased the vehicle in July of 2013, the damage was noticed by our people on a walk around 4 months later and 6,000 miles from when you purchased it. Hyundai is saying a lot could have happened in that time and its hard to believe that in 4 months and 6,000 mile that you didn't notice the dents all over the car. As a dealership we don't make the final decision, Hyundai does. Sorry for your situation.

piss poor customer service
john the service advisor should find another job on the strip. i will never go to henderson hyundai for service again even though i have free life time oil changes. they alomst over charged me on my service if i did not question it by calling another dealer for the price. also they do not have loaner cars & wanted me yo pay the sales tax on a rental when my car was there for a recall. never spoke with the manager for an apology, stay away!!!!

Mr. Dicamillo, Pricing form store to store will be different. We all have different labor rates as well as parts markup. Hyundai offers an MSRP which is a suggested retail price. I matched your price as a courtesy, not because we did anything wrong. As far as the rental car taxes, I called each hyundai dealer and they do the same thing with the taxes. Hyundai will only reimburse us for $30 dollars a day. The rental company charges $30 dollars a day, leaving the taxes and any insurance coverages on the customer. If we ate the taxes, the services would even be higher.
