They fixed my car
The dealer fixed the problem I had quickly and everything seems to be back to normal. When I picked the car up the drivers side seat was damp which I'm assuming was just from snow falling when the door was opened.

Ask for Ryan
Previously I had been working with Ryan - He's absolutely fantastic. I went in because my brand new 2017 Tucson was having an issue with going around a certain turn and they placed with me Karen. She laughed in my face when I explained to her the issue w/ my car. She asked me to repeat what was wrong and laughed again. She didn't believe me until the technician saw it firsthand. If Ryan isn't available when my car needs to be serviced I will be taking it somewhere else.

Honesty Isn't Their Policy
Dropped off my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe for a regular check up/oil change like I have done ever since getting the car in 2012. Every time I brought it in and something was wrong or something needed fixing I'd always get a call letting me know what it was and what it would cost so that I could be aware and either approve or deny the recommendation. This time when I went in to pick up my car I was greeted by a $739.95 bill, which wasn't made clear to me before dropping off my car and without a call or any mention of the significant cost before coming in. This isn't pocket change and really put my family in a difficult place financially, especially with a baby on the way. I've been a loyal customer for 5 years coming in regularly, but I will NEVER be returning to Gladstone Hyundai's Service Center again after this experience has left me feeling lied to and financially exploited.

Didn't take the time to diagnose fully
I brought in my car to address a wind noise in the driver's door (previously diagnosed by a dealer in eastern Canada while on vacation 3 weeks earlier) and they failed to test the car at multiple speeds so they couldn't duplicate. Said I could schedule to leave it for a whole day to have them take it on the freeway. Disappointed, that means another day spent taking my car for service

Frustrating
They don't Answer their phones or return your messages or reach out to customers when their parts aren't there in time for their appointments. Pretty frustrating.

Drive Around lot before leaving
Car was unable to drive safely when I left. Check car is running properly after routine maintenance that you pay over $400 for. Had to return after almost causing wreck since car wouldn't shift afterwards.

As we discussed on the phone, if the check engine light comes back on, please bring it back in so we can take another look at no charge to you. The money you spent was for diagnosis which we did on four different fault codes that were inactive at the time. If they return/become active we will diagnose them free of charge since you've already paid for that. Thank you.

when you say you are going to call someone or get back to them you need to follow through with it.
I was very unhappy that I schedule to have my wheel fixed on my car the guy never showed up and the service department told me they would call me reschedule never heard from them.

Ron Tonkin is not the dealership it used to be.
Karen was great. But, the service at your dealership is not. Will not use Tonkin again unless I absolutely have to. Shame it is the closest dealership to me and I chose to drive to Beaverton for service. Tonkin used to a place where you could go and not feel like you are getting taken advantage of. Not any more. Service was horrible on my 2013. Couldn't get a straight deal out of sales for a new one.

Hurried service
The techs were in a huge hurry. They forgot to call us when the car was done so we waited for hours. They missed lights that were burned out including a headlight. When we went to check out, the service techs didn't have answers to questions we asked when we brought the car in. Poor service all around! Immediately upon leaving, we took our car into another service and receives stellar treatment from them.

I am still angry
The phone conversation was vague - obviously not good at giving good advice and was told to have the car towed to the dealership. $350 later the car simply needed a new battery. Very disappointing! and a WASTED DAY - paying for a rental was unnecessary.

They will not rotate your tire, but they will charge you !
They said they will rotate my tires I paid 15 bucks extra and I was losing air rear tire, I'm still losing air in the rear, tires never got rotated. Lazy guys it's almost like stealing from customers. If I would of been losing air, I would of never know.
