Waiting room .
There needs to be a way for waiting customers to have coffee, tea, or other liquid refreshment while they wait.An hour and 1/2 is a long time to wait even with tv to watch.

Karen at the service counter is awesome! I am still trying to figure why a tire rotation cost $123 and fuel injection service is listed twice on my invoice. Double charges? The waiting area amenities pale in comparison to Lithia Subaru...no bottled water or snacks.

Oil change
I asked the front desk person if they could set up a courtesy call system for their customers. To no avail I got shut down immediately and was told they were too busy to do that because there are too many customers they are providing to. Poorly worded response which makes you feel as a customer un wanted and just another number in their system.

They fixed my car
The dealer fixed the problem I had quickly and everything seems to be back to normal. When I picked the car up the drivers side seat was damp which I'm assuming was just from snow falling when the door was opened.

Friendly but short on knowledge
We really like the car however it has a couple features that "we believe" might not be working correctly and one not working well for sure. The dealership doesn't have the answers. The people are nice but need to be able, or willing to get answers. Again good car, the features we are referring to is not a show stopper, would buy the car again.

Needs work
Communication here is pretty poor and needs work. It’s also hard for someone who works business hours to get services done here due to the hours they’re open. I have a 2017 that already is having problems with the power point/blue tooth and per their notes of maintenance say it’s been checked but it still doesn’t work.

Car not fixed and no compassion from the dealership
2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid intermittently won’t start. Dashboard lights up, but won’t start. Dealership told me it was a bad battery and sold me a new one for over $300. Less than a week later, CAR WONT START AGAIN. Roadside assistance towed it back to dealer. Was told over the phone that I would be called once car arrived. Didn’t hear anything for 3 days. They told me the car started for them all 3 days and that nothing will be done. After searching multiple car forum websites, it’s clear that there are MANY people with intermittent starting problems. When sharing that the majority of people have found the fix is replacing the “switch inhibitor,” I was told that they can only fix what their computer tells them to. I explained that by doing no repairs, eventually my wife and 6 year old son will be stranded somewhere when this less than 4yr old car once again decides to not start. The only option he gave me was to leave my car at the dealer and they would check it daily and when it finally glitches again and doesn’t start, then and only then, will they do a repair. Leaving us without the car for potentially a month or two. (Once it was 3 months in between the car not starting.) Zero compassion, no help, no problem solving ideas, unwilling to listen or research other people’s solutions. Hyundai will not be getting a return customer here.

Ask for Ryan
Previously I had been working with Ryan - He's absolutely fantastic. I went in because my brand new 2017 Tucson was having an issue with going around a certain turn and they placed with me Karen. She laughed in my face when I explained to her the issue w/ my car. She asked me to repeat what was wrong and laughed again. She didn't believe me until the technician saw it firsthand. If Ryan isn't available when my car needs to be serviced I will be taking it somewhere else.

Honesty Isn't Their Policy
Dropped off my 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe for a regular check up/oil change like I have done ever since getting the car in 2012. Every time I brought it in and something was wrong or something needed fixing I'd always get a call letting me know what it was and what it would cost so that I could be aware and either approve or deny the recommendation. This time when I went in to pick up my car I was greeted by a $739.95 bill, which wasn't made clear to me before dropping off my car and without a call or any mention of the significant cost before coming in. This isn't pocket change and really put my family in a difficult place financially, especially with a baby on the way. I've been a loyal customer for 5 years coming in regularly, but I will NEVER be returning to Gladstone Hyundai's Service Center again after this experience has left me feeling lied to and financially exploited.

Didn't take the time to diagnose fully
I brought in my car to address a wind noise in the driver's door (previously diagnosed by a dealer in eastern Canada while on vacation 3 weeks earlier) and they failed to test the car at multiple speeds so they couldn't duplicate. Said I could schedule to leave it for a whole day to have them take it on the freeway. Disappointed, that means another day spent taking my car for service
