Where do I go?
As a recent review mentioned, upon entering the service department there aren't clear instructions, unless you are a Subaru owner. I arrived for my first service appointment, stayed to the left 'Hyundai' side, but then had no idea where to go. So I stood by my car and in about 5 minutes, a service writer approached. At the time of purchase, I was also told the first 'free' service would include an oil change and tire rotation. Not true, oil was changed, tires were not rotated. This is a very busy shop that could greatly benefit from a few enhancements to better the customer experience.

David did a good job as my service rep. Dealership need to make some changes.
I never look forward to taking my car in for work at this shop but it's still under warranty so I have to. I've never been taken advantage of as far as I know for when I have had to pay for service. That part is good. I don't enjoy this dealership otherwise. We have had service from their respective dealers for a Scion and BMW and those dealerships are both super great to deal with. They provide either loaner cars or allow me to rent a car for a cheap price to allow me not to sit and wait for hours at a time in a waiting room. I live an hour away so can't just have a friend take me home after drop off. My last visit to Grayson Hyundai I came a few minutes before scheduled time and was told it would be a 3 hour job. It took 6 1/2. David, my service rep, couldn't really do anything about it although he was as helpful as he could be. Dealership needs to provide cars or rent cars out if they want my vote. I have tried to reserve a car when I schedule a repair they know is going to be several hours but they are always "gone already" even if I'm making an appointment a week in advance.

Be aware of recommeded service
ON a recent service visit I asked for the 30,000 mile service for my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. I was told by the service rep that a "brake system flush" was recommended for my car as part of the 30,000 mile service. I questioned this with the rep at the time and he explained that it is needed because of the anti-skid technology and if it was not performed it could mess up the sensors and would cost $2000 to repair. I had the service performed. After I left I read the maintenance requirements in my owners manual. No where in the manual does it mention having the brake fluid flushed. I verified this by calling Hyundai. The confirmed that the brake fluid flush was not required as part of the 30,000 mile service or any other regular service. I then called the Grayson service department and spoke with Clayton. He said he was not the manager but he could take care of my issue. I explained to him what had happened. He said he would talk to the service manager and call me back. When he called me back he said that service was recommended. I since talked to several ASE mechanics and none of them have ever heard of this service being part of recommended service. In my opinion it was bad that the service rep recommended service that was not required but the worst part was Grayson management condoning the practice. I have lost all trust in Grayson.

Maintenance not required
I recently had my 2015 Sonata serviced at the dealership for the 30,000 mile service. I was told I needed a "brake flush". I asked if it was part of the recommended maintenance and the service rep said it was recommended by Hyundai. Afterwards I looked in the owners manual and discovered that it was not part of the 30,000 mile recommended maintenance or ANY recommended maintenance for the vehicle. I called Hyundai technical support and it was confirmed that it was not part of recommended maintenance. I called the dealership and they stuck to their story that it was part of the maintenance. Don't fall for this scam.

On a separate note, on that same visit I was informed that wires were showing on the inside of my two front tires. My car has only been serviced by Grayson and done so as required by the manufacturer. I asked why the issue was not discovered before now since this was obviously an ongoing issue. I was told that that I was informed on my last appointment that my car needed alignment. I was not informed. It was not on my checkout form and it wasn't on any of the dozen forms they asked me to sign. I asked the service management about the issue and was all but called a liar.

I have lost all trust in Grayson service department

Never covered under warranty
I will never buy another car from this dealership. They can't find the leak in my air conditioning and I have had it in there 3 times in less than 6 months. Also, nothing is ever covered on the bumper to bumper warranty including things that need to be recalled like the fuel injection on my car.

They make me feel like a valued customer.
When we bought our Santa Fe, my husband told me to make the decision about the car to purchase since it would me mine. I did my research and had the choice narrowed down to the Santa Fe and a competitor's SUV. Grayson's salesman understood that I was an informed buyer and treated me with respect. He never spoke a condescending word to me and never tried to push something else on me. The few times that I had to take my car in for service/repairs has been as pleasant. They service personnel were knowledgable and explained the repairs in terms that I could understand without talking down to me. Every experience with Grayson has been pleasant and I always highly recommend them.

The BEST body shop on the planet!
After some guy smashed into the front end of my 2010 Elantra, I took my car to see Josh at Grayson Hyundai. In the condition it was in, I was very skeptical as to how on earth it could be repaired. But to my amazement, they were able to magically turn that twisted wrecked front end into a brand new front end! It was amazing!!! 100% as good as new!!!

Exceptional Service Everytime
In the two years that I have owned my Hyundai, I have been impressed by the genuine quality of the service department from the phenomenal service advisor staff to the excellent service. The service is always performed to a high standard and the service advisor does an exceptional job communicating both prior to the service as well as during the service as needed. I drive an additional 20min out of my way, past another Hyundai dealership to bring my car to Grayson. I will continue to do so, and in the event that I need another vehicle, I will purchase from Grayson based on the service that I receive their everytime!

Oil changes shouldn't take an hour and a half
I've taken my hyuandai sonata back to this dealership for every oil change since I purchased it a little over a year ago. After my last oil change, I'm considering otherwise. The man helping me was nice and very courteous, but I don't think that an oil change should take an hour and a half if you make an appointment. I had requested my vehicle be washed and vaccuumed and could maybe understand the delay if my car had looked better afterwards. The only part they vaccuumed were the front floor mats when the cup holders and back mats could have also used vacuuming as well. Really sorry job overall. I'll be looking elsewhere for service.
