Poor Customer Service
I have been here prior for service without issue. This time I had poor customer service. I believe that I was overcharged because of a coupon. When I brought it to the person's attention they told me that I just did not understand what I was talking about it, and looking at, and that I should just pay for it. I asked him to explain the cost to me, and he refused. Again telling me it was just hard to understand, and that I didn't know what I was looking at. I ended just paying it because after waiting 2.5 hours for an oil change I just wanted to leave.

The People
The employees in the service department are fantastic. It's frustrating however to know I can get an alignment at a reputable provider for $30.00 less than Hyundai will charge. It's also frustrating that on a car with 14000 miles driven on only paved roads the car is out of alignment.

I would recommend this business but my husband (who purchased the car) would not.

Poor communication
Poor scheduling, will take advantage of people. My visit was estimated as 1 1/2 hours but took 5 1/2 hours. They forgot I get regular oil changes for free, forgot to change my oil and rotate my tires even though that is what my car was taken in for...

7day cruise with purchase?
My experience with the service department has been awesome.. When buying my Veloster, it was great..until there we be issues With this cruise I was promised as part of the deal. It's been one year since buying my car and I have tried numerous times to get an answer on the replacement for the cruise that was promised. The cruise company supposedly went out of business. But I feel like Murdock dealerships are a strong and trustworthy company and should stand behind the deals they make, no matter what the circumstances are. I don't think a couple nights stay in a hotel is even trade for a 7 day cruise that I bought as part of my car deal.

Nice Staff, Good Facility - Concerned about Maintenance
Overall Murdock Hyundai of Logan tries hard to help. However I have had two average experiences with them now. Nice people, but always trying to add service things that I am not sure that I want or need. I don't mind a recommendation, but don't like a huge sales pitch. Also on this time I had to return the car because of an oil leak. While it was just "residual oil" - at least in theory - I am still monitoring it - I am concerned that there may be a more significant issue. This was something that my vehicle did not do before I took it in. I am on the fence right now about continuing with them or finding someplace else. I like to maintain my newer vehicles with dealers, but not if they can't deliver the services needed without any concerns.

questionable repairs
During oil change was advised that a quick alignment check showed the alignment to be significantly out and required realignment and a new part added to correct camber. Declined the repair and had Tire dealer where I had purchased the tires evaluate the alignment. The alignment was in Manufacturing specifications, no part nor realignment required. I am questioning the validity of the quick alignment check machine. I wonder if the alignment Tech would have picked up on the quick alignment error?

Again, I am sorry concerning the misread on the alignment check and costing you time to take your vehicle to another business to verify the alignment. After our phone conversation, I again spoke with the service rep you worked with and we came to the conclusion that it must have been the way the vehicle was pulled in that caused the misread. I have talked with him concerning our process of how we handle a misread. He understands that once the vehicle is on the standard alignment lift and machine, that if we would have found the alignment in at that point, the vehicle is pulled back off the lift and there are no charges. I am grateful for you letting me work through the concerns that you experienced. I truly want you to have a no regrets experience. Thanks for you time and have a great day!

Very sales based repair staff. Everything is about the up sale and maximizing the money you leave there. I am frustrated every time I leave from receiving service.

I think they broke my car to sell me more products
My car passed an inspection just a week before without any issues, yet when I took it to them for a recall that I was told by another dealer that I needed they found some costly repairs and my air conditioning stopped working. They were rude to me when I told them about the inspection. I don't feel like I'd ever take my car there again.

Slow service
2 hours for just an oil change??? This is ridiculous. This happens every time I go to the Logan Murdock Hyundai location. Contemplating if I should return or not. Prepaid plan expired so this might make my decision easier to move on to someone else.

Be clear with them on oil changes
Don't assume that because the owner's manual clearly states to use synthetic oil that they are going to refill your car with synthetic oil. They won't even ask. You have to tell them specifically to use synthetic or they will fill it with conventional oil. They lost my trust. Not going back.
