Not so great service
Lack of Communication to find out the status of my vehicle. I had to call (3) times to find out if my car service was done. This, after I was told someone would contact me when my vehicle was done. Car was not properly test driven, because when I went to pickup my car the brakes were noisy & had to leave my car an extra day & take a loaner car.

Awful
Don't take your vehicle to this dealership. You will be screw with. They said they rotate my tires but they didn't. I ask to change my back blades, they changed the front and not the back. I don't even think the change my oil. Not going back

Lack of follow through
For the past 6 months, we have been trying to get a loaner car for a repair; however, they either never have one or we are not a priority since our repair is not a major repair. They keep promising they will take care of us; however, we never hear from them. We have to continue calling on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. They tell us what we want to hear; however, they have yet to follow through on their promises. We are highly frustrated and disappointed. Nice people, poor customer service.

I see I'm not the only one with this complaint on here but my car had a clicking sound so I made an appt on 2/9/2019 at 11a.m. Before the car was even looked at I was told it was an engine issue & if I didn't have an warranty that it would be pretty expensive. I was basically blown off after that even though come to find out I have a extended warranty that will cover the issue. When I told Nick, the mechanic there....after I finally called at 3:30 because no one had told me the next step after driving back and forth to get answers (fyi, 30 min to get there)....he told me he was busy and would "probably " get around to calling in for my warranty next week to see when I could bring the car back in BUT it's not safe to drive the car in the meantime. As of right now I still haven't had an appt set, my car is still clicking, and it was the worst service I've ever...never received. I wouldn't recommend buying a car from them if your only option is to go to them after if you have issues. I currently have a Rosen Hyundai in Illinois trying to help the best they can but their an hour and half away. This place needs to be on the news for their horrible service and I'm a minority so yes, it makes me wonder if that was part of their issue.

Poor product and worse customer service
My car(2012 Hyundai Elantra ) has a manufacturing fault because of it is making ticking or knocking noise and it is gonna kill the engine overtime and the dealer or the company is not ready to fix it and I was been told that you should have done it under warranty period now the fis is gonna cost you around $5000 now

Shady sales practices
After telling the Salesman to not attempt to charge me any fees beyond processing they added a warrantee package and a "Passive security" fee. Long story short we walked out. They even want you to sign paperwork in a certain order and show the most important page listing all their fees last. Very deceptive.

Horrible service department
We dropped off our Hyundai with being told that it would need a new wheel bearing and speed sensor. They called and said that it would need more time as they needed to order parts, then it costed more because they said that the bolts were rusted and that needed to be removed.When my husband picked it up, it made more noise than when we dropped it off and something was definitely wrong. He brought it right back in and they claimed that they told him that it needed a new axle and power steering line... we have never been told that and would not have wasted $1,000 on something that would not fix everything! (How dumb is that???)

I am sorry you feel this way.

We spoke last night about the car and drove together and isolated the noise. We seemed to agree with what we would do next. I would be happy check that caliper like I said at no charge and determined what repairs could be made if you would like to. Lack of quality control
My vehicle needed a headlight assembly replacement due to a recall, two warranty issues, as well as routine maintenance. When I picked the car up, they said everything was ready to go. The following weekend I was traveling and discovered about three hours from home at midnight on a Saturday, that my headlights weren't working. This left me stranded with nothing but fog lights to drive to my destination for the night. That was when I noticed that the service department did not install high- and low-lamp bulbs in the headlight assembly. This seems like a pretty big safety oversight. I would assume if a service tech is replacing a component, they would turn that component (lights) on to make sure they work before handing the car over to the customer. When I returned the service coordinator apologized and had new headlamps installed, but at that point. Unfortunately, I cannot trust the service department at Racine Hyundai to return my car in a state in which it safely operates, and will return to a different automotive group for maintenance and repairs. I hope the service technician who neglected to make sure my lights worked before signing off on the repair receives additional training in quality control so this does not happen to the next customer.

Unbelievable
At one point I rated this place a five. Shame on me. Got a flat, called roadside assistance. Was then told I needed to replace ALL FOUR TIRES (28867 miles on the car!); needed oil change (fine whatever); AND THEY TRY TO TELL ME SOMETHINGS WRONG WITH MY BREAKS?! (False). Overkill on the oversale, ya think?

I and very sorry to here this. You asked me to call you. When I did a man told me to just put the car together and you were picking it up. I inspected the car and found tire tread depths we at 4 to 6/32 the front brakes were at 3 to 4 mm and the right rear was at 3mm and the left side rear was at 6mm indicating the right rear caliper is binding and fronts are at replacment thickness. All of the recommendations are at DOT standard. You could ware the tires some more but the lowest readings are DOT standards for replacement. The right rear brake is a problem I feel the caliper is binding and causing that side to ware faster than the left rear. I would like to take care of that free of charge if you will allow us. I am sorry it took so long. It did take some time to figure out the accessory remote start that was installed on the car. We try to predict the time it will take to fix situations like this, but this situation is not cut and dry and it took some time. Thanks for responding.

Rewards points
The service manager was very helpful in researching how Hyundai rewards points are awarded, it does take sixty days to get them once the service is invoiced. So I will just wait and see. Mike was very responsive to my inquiry and I was quite impressed with his diligence. Problems always happen its how you deal with them determines how a judge a vender. Thanks Mike. Please change my rating to five stars.

Fraud
Have you ever been skeptical of the recommendations mechanics make when you go in for routine service? Here’s a good test. I just bought new windshield wipers today. Today. But I bought them at an auto parts store. And now this dude at the dealership just tried to upsell me by telling me my wipers aren’t completely worn out yet but, you know, I should probably replace them soon. Also, a simple oil change took an hour. Ridiculous.

Lack of Communication
Not pleased with Racine Hyundai. Made an appointment for 3 recall issues. They took care of 2 because the machine was broke for the engine recall. I should have received a call that all work could not be completed. I would have rescheduled because I travel 30 miles one way to that dealer. Then when I was there, the Hyundai rep had his machine and helped other people. Racine Hyundai said I could not be taken care of that day for the engine recall and they will call when their machine is working. It has been 3 weeks and no call. I took it to another dealer and had excellent service.

I went for an oil change 7/10/17 at 9:00 am. Mr matthew p conno./ 8445 gave him the coupon for $ 21.95 he tells me I don't need it. It's only to tell you what we do. My bill is $ 29.67 how do you get 29.67 ?
