Dont see HOW this place could get any ratings
I dont see how this place gets any ratings at all! I've contacted the several times over the past 6 months to get a quote on some work, and I never get a response!

How can you rate someone who is SO UNPROFESSIONAL they wont even respond to your inquiries???

Very untrustworthy to say the least, if they can't even bother with potential new customers.

Tires were overinflated
I took my car to Maso's based upon the numerous positive reviews from neighbors on the Nextdoor website. Prior to this, I had been taking my car to a different repair facility for 15+ years. The ownership had changed so I was seeking a new repair shop. I needed an oil change so I called the facility to see if I could schedule an appointment. I was told that no appointment was needed and that I could just bring it on by even though it was late in the afternoon. The person at the front counter was friendly and he immediately took my car back for its oil change. I asked if they could do a standard inspection of all belts, fluid, etc but he told me that he wasn't qualified to do so and that he could only change the oil, fill my wiper fluid, and check the air in my tires. I probably should have rearranged to come back when someone was there who could do the necessary maintenance inspection but I did not. Shame on me. When he was done with my car, the tech told me that my tires had been very low in air and that he had taken care of it. He also topped off the windshield wiper fluid. Flash forward to today. 3 weeks had passed and I was going to inflate the tires. This is when I discovered that all 4 tires had been SUBSTANTIALLY overinflated. The front tires should be 30 psi and the rear tires should be 29 psi. Instead, every single one was over 35 psi. My car had been in my garage overnight when I checked the pressure so the tires were cold and not giving me a false high pressure. My guess is that the tech probably inflated the tires to the pressure stated on the tires (44 psi) instead of getting the correct pressure from the driver's side door in the car. I am really upset over this and will most likely not take my car back to them. Driving a car with overinflated tires is not safe! This is a shame as they were very friendly and quick but I need to be able to trust that the people maintaining my car are doing the work properly.

Spoke with Tasha. She said she was a little upset with this business after they inspected her vehicle. They performed the service, but they gave her a receipt for a Honda vehicle that she does not own. All of the information pertained to a completely different vehicle. She mentioned she still needs her inspection sticker.

Tasha,  please contact us to clear this up.  Obviously something went wrong, name on your vehilce in our system is all wrong and would love to fix this and reinspect if the inspection is not valid.  Our State Inspection is done thru scaning your registration sticker and nothing is inputed manually.  again, please contact Bruce or I.

Zero Customer Service!
If customer service is important to you don't go to Maso's. Bruce was rude & didn't want to be bothered as he had paperwork to do. Arrive at work early Bruce so you can provide service to customers.

sorry tomhear ear that your vehicle did not pass the State of Texas Inspection requirements.  We are licensed to perform the inspections per the State of Texas Vehicle Inspection rules and requirements.  Our State Inspectors are State Licensed and tested.  If your vehicle did not pass, then either there was a safety issue or emissions issue with your vehicle.  You have 15 days to repair the issue and bring back for no fee reinspection.

Ashley said the staff at the business was friendly and she went to get an oil change. The next day she seen a pile of oil under her vehicle. She took it to another business and they told her the wrong size oil filter was put in. She would not recommend them for oil changes.

I went in for a inspection both of the associates went out of the way to help and answer questions about the check engine light, at the point we are deciding on diagnostics and pricing the manager all while trying to be helpful & friendly confuses me with what pricing he has and that I ALREADY owe him from pulling in the bay. I at this point not having asked for services yet that im being charged for I disagree on having codes read and he promptly Tells me find service elswhere then turns and tell the associate to remove my vehicle. Customer Service Failed!
Next time you get a referral leave it to the guy who had me sold & just was working the details taking over and playing hardball only losses you business from me and mine.

They took my car within 10 minutes of my arrival and had the oil changed and tires checked in less than 20 minutes. Quick work and less cost than "Quick Lube" for synthetic. Easy folks to deal with and easy in & out.
