Disappointed
Unfortunately, my experience with my Rav 4 purchased at Iron Trail has been less than satisfied. Purchased with 12,000 miles... I have been a satisfied customer. The past 2 visits - one in October 2016 - has it in for recall and to be cleaned with their car protective care.... part of the back right panel was missed. The point inspection sheet was not completed. I brought my vehicle in to have the back door latch replaced.... sole purpose of the car.... was told I would have to bring it back in to have it replaced. Asked why it was not replaced since that was the priority reason of the appointment. I was told it needed to be diagnosed ... then the part would be ordered. It would cost over $300. I mentioned I had extended warranty and bumper to bumper to 100,000 miles/10 years.... it was then covered with a deductible of $100 and rental car would be covered. I also stressed my frustration and what an inconvenience ..... they were very accommodating with this and I am thankful as I ended up being sick. I looked at my receipts now... and notice the inspection sheet was NOT included..... I am not impressed with the quality of service I have received and not t mention... the last 2 times I received a "rental" car.... the car was dirty with debris from previous users. ( The latest... a dirty rag in the backseat, wrappers, and lots of gravel - previously... an empty cigarette box, wrappers, etc.). Now this leaves me to looking for another Toyota dealership and/or different vehicle where a dealership takes pride in the workmanship. Saddens me as I want to remain local. Truly dissatisfied with my almost 2 years of experience.

Incompetent service man
I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service man failed to put the big cap on the engine oil and my new vehicle blew oil all over the engine. I was stuck on the side of the road until help could arrive.

I had previous business before when I purchased a 94 Dodge Shadow. I was very satisfied with my experience. However, I purchased a RAV 4... and I cannot say I am satisfied. In the first 4 days of owning the car.... it was in my garage for maybe 10 hours if that. I purchased the car on a Saturday.... the next Tuesday I said I wanted out of the deal. I was told it was too late. I then learned I had 3 business days to back out... so I technically had until Wednesday. I was lied to... right to my face. I am only bringing my car there for recalls and/or warranty work. I just had my car in for recall and the northland car service.... my car was much cleaner! but a few places were missed. I was also given a multi inspection sheet.... and it was blank! I am not impressed with the quality of workmanship. Will be the last time I purchase a car from here.

Overpriced, Mis-Diagnosed
Took my 2013 Tacoma in for front end noise. Diagnosed at dealership as a bad front passenger wheel bearing. Quoted over $1100 to repair. Quick online scan showed national average cost at $500-600. Cancelled work and took vehicle to another local repair shop. Work was performed for $510 and problem fixed. The kicker was that it was actually the front driver's side bearing, not the passenger side which was faulty. Will never bring my vehicle back to Iron Trail for further servicing.

I am sorry you felt our pricing was out of line. We strive for fair and honest pricing on all of our repairs and stand by our work and the quality of it.  I looked over the invoice and the quote and found that the technician did indeed state the left front hub assembly had failed.  The left front is the drivers side and not the passenger side as stated in your review.  Our technician did recommend replacing the axle seal as well and we were quoting genuine Toyota parts.  In addition we recommended a four wheel alignment and that was included in our quote and included tax.  Using original equipment parts is always recommended but we do offer aftermarket parts when requested.  Thank you for letting us know about your dissatisfaction on your last visit and we will try to serve you better should you give us another chance.  Thank you Peter Orlich GM

The people were friendly and the work was done promptly. However, it cost about twice as much as the dealer I use in the cities.

Not impressed
I had some issues with my car, so I called to have it checked out. I new mostly what was wrong with it like the wheel bearings.... witch when they said they were done with it and went through the list of things that needed to be fixed they told me the wheel bearings were fine,witch they ... I had to make the mechanic take the car for another "test drive" and he comes back and says "yea you are right the right wheel bearing needs to be changed" I should not have had to tell a mechanic how to do his job.. before they even touched my car I told them that the wheel bearing needed to be looked at. Now I'm just wondering what else they missed.needless to say I will be going elsewhere from now on...

Always have some issue
Had oil change and tire rotation done on my 2010 traverse. Pickup up vehicle and engine light on and service traction control and stabilitrac system. Had to come back and have looked at. Mechanic forgot to plug in sensors. Then after doing another check when I got home air filter cover was cracked and all screws were loose and missing one now. Each time I bring my vehicles in its always something. Thinking it's time to find a new place for work to be done....

Sienna water pump and belts
I am pleased with the performance but am disappointed with the pricing. We did not have to replace the water pump bolts and had 2 of the belts replaced in March, but we still ended up at almost the same number as I was quoted for the complete job. $108 for shop supplies. That is riudiculous.

It's the only dealership for Toyota in the area
They were quick and courteous in fixing my Camry--actually, I was quite impressed with the excellent--and fair--customer service. However, I still have reservations when I bring my car in because of so many previous bad repair experiences with Iron Trail prior to August 2015.

Service wasn't up to par
We were told we would get free unlimited cleanings after paying over $700 for a yearlyrics program which would include under body rust protector once a year. My daughter and I both asked if they were sure we would getvthis. We were told it was unlimited. We came in first time and it was not cleaned at all even after being left there. Wish we would have bought a different car from a different dealership. We have had terrible experiences there.

Check dash lights
3 dash lights were on and you sent me to Auto Zone to check them. Then you gave me a bill for $700 plus because the parts have to ordered and be pd for up front and it meant another trip to IT. Also you claimed the tire valve covers were wrong and had to be replaced when they were installed by you in the first place when we gave $800 plus for 4 tires. You need to get your act together at IT.

Horrible
I had a pre-scheduled appointment to check wheel balance. I showed up and there was no paperwork so I must have just needed to be worked in as could be done (I don't know). What I do know is that after 2 hours I was finally told one wheel needed to be balanced and that would take another hour. I paid $109.00 and left with still a wobbly wheel because I had an appointment in Cook. Unrecorded appointment and time slot reserved - unacceptable. 2 hours to check wheel balance - unacceptable. Another whole hour to balance one wheel - unacceptable. $109.00 for THIS experience - unacceptable.

Oil Change and Bad News
I am very sorry to say that again I have not received the best service. My oil change was completed and done correctly and I appreciate that. I also was having a problem with my tire sensor so they checked and found a small screw "barley" in my tire. It was replaced as needed and I was charged 99 dollars for labor for such a small job because they had to reset my computer because something wasn't right. Well my car is brand new and a computer problem shouldn't exist. Iron trail did give me a free oil change and car washes for this inconvenience. I appreciate that but am still very unsatisfied.

Job was not completed properly
Had oil change and tire rotation. Oil plug was not put on tight enough and ended up having to go elsewhere to get it fixed and buy oil as I was down 1 quart

Service department
The people at the service desk need some training in interacting with customers. For example, don't leave someone who you were just speaking with standing there while you ignore them to talk to someone else who just walked up. That person should be the one to wait. Also, I had to go back for further instruction as the first answer I got on a particular operation of my vehicle did not work. In addition, I returned to the dealership once I saw the dark spots that were left on the upholstery in my vehicle so they could be cleaned by them. I will probably not be returning to Iron Trail if I can get better service in Bemidji.

didn't get complete Toyota care 15000 service
Brought sequoia in for 15000 mile oil change and tire rotation. They said no to the oil change even though my flyer from Toyota says that is part of the service every 5000 miles. They told me 2 hours for the recall notice and Toyota care checkup and would call me when they were done. Walked around for 3 hours, never got a call and went back and car was done. No oil change just tire rotation and no phone call. Very poor customer service!!!

Service was good but issues
Had a oil change but passenger floor mat was dirty and marked up after visit also air and cabin filter change was recommended. But prior visit filter cover was improperly put back on this in probably resulting in dirty filters

Service department won't return calls
Had our vehicle worked on- the first time the problem was not even resolved, the 2nd time ( for a different reason) my husband wanted to talk to a mechanic to discuss what was done to our vehicle and what was wrong. We were directed to the service rep-- aka the service garages secretary-- but was never able to talk to a mechanic. Called multiple times and left messages and no one will call us back. My husband wants to give one star, I will give two as the problem was resolved, but not happy about the customer care-
