Masters Auto Center
The MAC in my area, Orange City, 32763. Is out of business. So what happens to my Life Time wheel alignment and life time breaks ?????

Terrible Service
I took my car here because the oil light was coming on randomly. The next thing that I knew my driver's side tire was taken off and I was told that I had an issue with a caliber. I have no idea why they took my tire off. The next thing that I knew they had my battery out of my car and never gave me a reason for taking it out. Daryl tried to go into my glove box and the glove box was screwed shot and he tried to open it and broke the latch off they are now saying that it's my fault because I did not tell them that the box could not be opened. They ordered the wrong Caliber and he then said that he repaired the stripped bolt. They are all smiles when you come into the shop but wait until someone is dissatisfied then things change.

Hello, my name is Nick. I am the manager of Masters. I will admit that I am frustrated over this, and would like for you to know that we tried to go above and beyond to meet your needs. I would like to clarify some of the issues surrounding this situation, as I feel that this review is very misleading. As part of the job to replace the oil pressure sensor, the battery needed to be removed for access to the sensor. This is standard. The wheel was removed only after we informed you that you had a brake caliper that was only held on by one bolt. We let you know that the second bolt that holds the brake caliper would not tighten and the brakes needed repair. After giving you the quote here in person, you approved the repairs. We were able to fix your parts rather than replacing then which saved you some money. You were not charged for any new part, please look again at your invoice. Your glove box handle, this glove box and many plastic components in your car are screwed together with drywall screws and you have previously said that the glove box is screwed shut. I cannot approve a replacement of a glove box that is falling apart after you have put screws all around this interior to hold it together and to screw the glove box shut. It is unreasonable to assume that we will pay for this when we did not damage it. This is preexisting. I personally reviewed this case and concluded that the staff here has handled this to the best of their ability and tried to exceed your expectations. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy and as always we will keep working hard to maintain our high ratings by reviewing any possible issues and creating solutions both long term and short term. Disgruntled Customer
We purchased 2 camper tires last year while vacationing in Fl. We had not put 1300 miles on the tires and had to replace them because the 2 outside treads were worn off. The miles were put on on 3 days while traveling home.
We called immediately when we got home to report the problem and were told that they could not find the sale in the computer although they could find the oil change they did for us! This year when we returned we took the tires and the paperwork to them and after 3 weeks of visits to the shop and multiple phone calls, all the manager Nick did was give us the run around. We lost $242 due to their selling is a substandard product. I would discourage anyone from purchasing from this establishment.

Oil change
I went for a oil change and a couple days after my oil change a repair light when off on my dashboard the car notified me that I need a oil change. That tells me they did not even change my oil they stole my money so ticked off nothing they say or do can make me trust these people they are terrible in my opinion. Don't come here

Not the best service
Had to bring my vehicle back to these guys on two different occasions for engine light malfunction. Both times I was charged more money to fix the problem. I found a better place that gets it right the first time.

Hello! I am sorry to hear that your unsatisfied. Had you come to me or another associate with any concern we would have done everything in our power to ensure you were happy. All our work  is guaranteed.
Unfortunately we were unable to come together on your vehicle repairs. You missed several scheduled appointments and on the one occasion that you made it to your appointment you said the vehicle was no longer acting up and the engine light had gone off, and that you would reschedule at a later date. We never heard back from you after that. We cannot accurately diagnose and repair a vehicle if we cannot get it into the shop to repair. After reviewing the history on this vehicle, I show that you were not charged more than once for any repairs or diagnostic time. We are not perfect and can make mistakes but after reviewing the history, I feel our team went above and beyond to try to accommodate you and your schedule. Again, I am sorry that you are unhappy and we wish you luck on your future repair needs.

Poor Planning
Great job on oil change of one car. Other car had been slated to stay for a diagnostic on codes. We came back 5 hours later and tech had only had it in the shop for an hour. Too much pre-scheduled business for the available workers and the quality suffered as a result. This was a surprise because usually Masters gives excellent service. I understand you have to cut hay when the Sun's shining but don't take someones vehicle for a full day, do nothing with it because you overbooked and then tell them later that we would be able to get the parts today anyway. It was a waste of the customer's time and something we hope is not reoccurring.

Brian said on his last 2 or 3 visits to this business before this one, the gentleman behind the counter was great, he got the vehicle back on time, they kept him updated and he was happy. However, this last visit they charged him over $80 even though his vehicle was under warranty and he has never had to pay for service on it before. When he got the vehicle home and went to check the coolant level, he found water in the reservoir and not coolant. In addition, they replaced the starter but it did not fix the problem so he will have to take another day off work in order to take the vehicle to another facility. He would not recommend this business for service.

Maria said she had purchased four tires at the business and one of the tires got damaged. When she went to return it and showed them her receipt as proof, they refused to pay for the defective tire. They told her she was responsible for what happened to it. She ended up having to spend $130.00 for another tire. She would never go back there again.

Hello Maria, I am sorry to hear that you had a damaged tire. After reviewing this, we see on the photos that there is clearly curb damage to the sidewall of the tire. Unfortunantely, this type of damage will not be covered under any warranty. The manufacturer of this value tire will not honor a warranty in this case so we are unable to give it to you for free. I wish we could have helped more!

Re review after visit
Masters Auto looked at the connector to assure that no other work was required to ensure a good long term connection.
One great thing about Masters is that they listen to the customers input as a diagnostic tool. They don't interrupt and
say "don't worry, we'll see what's wrong and fix it". They also let the customer know what was done and why.
I had some questions about any effects the "misfires" could have and they were discussed.
That sure beats dealers where you usually don't get to talk to the most knowledgeable person who actually does the work .

Fuel injector connector causing misfires
Everything was fine until 12/20. I had misfire codes P0300, P0305 and P0306 and it was indeed misfiring.
After about two hours I discovered that the fuel injector harness had not been reconnected correctly.
It was not locked in, only loosely in place. I snapped it in and everything is now fine.
I hope there was no damage to the Catalytic converter.

We would like to see the vehicle to ensure that you will not have any further issues with this and make sure that the harness is secured properly. Greta said the business had to repair the transmission but when she took her vehicle home, it was leaking fluid and the electrical system was not working properly. She had to take it back. They kept it for a couple of days and resolved the problems. This was the first time she had a problem with them.

Friendly Service
My one and only complaint is that even though the service my car needed was rather expensive, I was still charged $65.00 for basic diagnostic service even though you advertise that you do a check engine light reading for free. I feel that if I decide to have the car repaired at that time this charge should be taken off. It is rather excessive.
