"DISHONEST SHOP MECHANIC MANAGER. "
After being told my vehicle was completed we went to pick it up. We were Told by shop manager "Mechanic" that it needed a catalatic converter replaced and a full tune up when it was diagnosed. We pulled up to our van hanging half out of the shop bay door hood up!! The shop manager mechanic was asked by my wife if "everything's ok"?? He replied just topping off the fluids your all set. HE ALSO KNEW THAT WE WERE TAKING OUR 8 CHILDREN IN THE VAN ALL THE WAY TO VIRGINIA BEACH!!! We live About 4 miles away from the shop it barely made it home. Took it back and was assured after some heated discussion it would be fixed right. Needless to say it wasnt !!!!!! We left for our trip and the service engine light came on a few miles into the drive. ((((WHICH WASNT ON WHEN WE TOOK IT IN TO BE REPAIRED))))

"Tire Rotation"
I brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. We heard a clunk when making a turn and we stopped to find all 4 tires were loose! Needless to say, I am not happy with the service received.

John said the estimate was $50 less than what they charged him, and they never kept him undated on the status of his vehicle like they told him they would. When he called for an update he was on hold for 8 minutes so he hung up, thinking he was forgotten. He waited 5 minutes then called again. It rang a few times, the line was picked up, then the line was disconnected. He does not know if that was on purpose or an accident. On his third try he was able to reach someone. He said he has used this business many times. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes not so much. He said this is his last visit because he was not happy.

"car repair"
not so friendly only one thats nice is the young lady my other windshield wiper was falling off they could have pushed it back down for me before it flew off. older staff before these young people were much nicer. took better care of us. much better at being a family like friendly place. Zoladz is turning into just another place. would have recommended about 3 years ago not so sure now

Rick said he went to the business to have a tire rod put on they did not do an alignment. The vehicle pulls to one side now. He did not bring it back to the business and he took it somewhere else to be fixed.

"Scammed??"
I was the second of three owners who were told their cars would not pass state inspection without repairs in the hour or so I waited for my car. Coincidence? Or is something not right going on?

Zoladz has enjoyed servicing the people of alden for the past five decades. We have always prided ourselves on integrety and honesty. You are correct, three people did fail their NYS inspection during that period. The first was a inoperable emergency brake,  the second vehicle's brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and the last vehicle was a steering sway bar. We understand that may seem coincidental, however NYS is very strict on inspection standards. There are severe penalties and fines up to and including revoking our NYS inspectors license. The bygone days of going to the local garage and getting your car inspected with a wink are long gone. We value all our customers and appreciate their business immensly and we believe that we have enjoyed operating here for so long because we maintain our integrity and honesty.

Ron said the service took longer than he thought it should have. The business seemed to be sorting through the changes in their personnel and management. He thinks they are trying but he can not recommend them right now. If he goes back and has another bad experience, he will definitely not be able to recommend them at all.

After AAA started my car and reported I need a new battery I called Zoladz to see if I could bring my car in as it was still running. Brian was so accommodating although I had no appointment my car had a new battery within the hour. This is the best service I ever had!

"4 new tires"
I waited no time and they took my car in right as I arrived for my appointment. The waiting area was clean and warm and in a little under a hour I was back on the road again with four new tires.
