⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time in a very long time I didn’t walk away worried I had be over-sold on a service. The harsh reality is there are several business models out there that support “less-than-honest” practices. These guys seem to realize there is plenty of business to be had and there’s no reason to try and wheedle out more. If you’re fair, safe, and honest…that will generate all the repeat business you could possibly need. Time will tell but fingers are crossed that I may have just found our new family mechanic.

At Colchin I receive competitive pricing and professional servicing from the administrative and the tech servicing area. I only get my Toyotas served once a year for oil changes but whenever a big ticket replacement comes along, Josh and Colin try to tell me in advance.

In this world, it’s hard to find honest people who really help. Colchin is above the rest. They provide quality work at a fair price. I trust their expertise and opinions. We’ve had things handled by Josh in the past and have felt lucky to know him. This time, we had Colin fix the car and I am so grateful. He’s an honest man who takes time to explain everything. As always, Colchin’s is wonderful. I never have to worry that they might tell me I need something that I don’t. I’ve never met a mechanic so honest. I live up in the mountains and have to wait for my car so they get my car in and out as fast as they can. They are great.

They’ve helped us keep it running while she finished college, and the service has always been honest and dependable. When the factory warranty expired on my Toyota Highlander, I took it to Colchin for an evaluation. They performed a thorough inspection and, because of my history with them, didn’t charge me a dime. I thought that was a classy gesture and one that says a lot about how they treat their customers. They’ve earned my trust, and I’ll continue taking my vehicles to them.

The honest mechanics take excellent care of my car and keep me aware of issues well before I need to address them. I won’t trust my car care to anyone else.

We were considering just having the front brake rotors turned because there was a shimmy in the steering wheel when applying the brakes. The tech said they could do that, but we would likely have the same problem again and we would wind up paying for double the labor. We decided to take his advice and replace the front brake rotors.

The office staff was engaging in responsive. They provided practical advice. The work was completed on time and on budget.
