Way too long
I had called the day before and spoken with someone in the service department to schedule an appointment for a regular maintenance 15k oil change AND an Auto Butler service. I asked how long it would take for both of these services, and I was told an hour and a half. Surprised, I asked that this would be an hour and a half for both the oil change and the Auto Butler, and I was told yes. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, I was met with blank stares when I said that I was there for an oil change and Auto Butler. Apparently, Peninsula Hyundai does not do the Auto Butler service. Why then, was I told over the phone the day before that I could schedule an appointment for that service? The best answer I could get from Marvin was, "Well, I wasn't here yesterday, so I don't know why you were told that." He also apologized and said that they would, of course wash and vacuum my car for me, which sounded like it was standard practice. At any rate, I was frustrated from the start since I had very clearly requested and scheduled the Auto Butler service on the phone the day before and would not be receiving it. I decided to go ahead with my oil change, however, as it was due for service. I asked again how long it would take, stating that I had been told an hour and a half. The gentlemen who were helping me gave what I perceived to be a hesitant affirmative that that was how long it would take. It ended up taking just over 3 hours, during which time I was never updated about the progress of my vehicle nor given an estimated time frame. I will not be returning to Peninsula Hyundai for service after this visit. I have clearly learned that service members cannot be trusted to be straightforward with customers.

I want to apologize for the service experience you had here. That was definitely not the way we like to treat our service customers. There are no excuses for the miscommunications on our end, and again I want to apologize for that. If in the future you decide to offer us another chance to service your vehicle, I can assure you that we will provide a level of service you will appreciate. quick service
everything appears to have been done satisfactorily with the repair/maintenance, however I am not receiving any scheduled maintenance reminder emails so this service was late. There was no courtesy wash, very disappointed. I would only recommend this business with warnings to any friend about sloppy customer service (no maintenance reminders) and lack of customer care and respect due to not even a rinse-off done to my vehicle.

They are nice.
You can get a free car wash maybe. Hopefully they don't loose your paperwork, but if they do they will still try to help. They are very busy so plan on waiting at least 10 minutes. The guys at the front are polite and friendly. They can give you a ride to your house if needed and its not to late in the day. I did not meet anyone from the service department. I prefer if the mechanic goes over the report with me and visually shows me what to keep an eye on or things that are concerning. They didn't do this. I would probably go back because they know my car and they are polite.

This dealership is always empty, everyone there swarms you even if you just walk through, during your service.
I have spoken to the owner, Peter Sercia, about the treatment that I received when I leased the car, and that I never received the new car survey, even though two of his employees left messages on my machine on how to fill out only fours and fives on this survey. Peter assured me that he would take care of it that day, my service day, and I never heard anything from him or any of his staff. Needless to say, I would never subject any of my friends to this kind of treatment.
I mentioned this to Mr Sercia, and his response was "OH, I will pay you for referrals" All I can say is I really don't like even going to this dealer for any reason. It is going to be a long 3 year lease !!!

Long wait, for nothing
I think if you have an easy fault to be repaired you will be fine. Service manager was very helpful and nice. Unfortunately I couldn't be helped as I had an interrmitent fault.

Took me in on short notice and got me out relatively quick
Good customer service but I asked about the tire pressure sensor (Serramonte Hyundai told me one of the pressure sensors in my tires was broken from fix a flat) and they said there was no way to know if the sensor was broken...... :/
It kind of seemed like they just didn't want to do the work to look and find out.
